Changbai Mountain is a dormant volcano with a history of several recorded eruptions. The unique landscape formed by volcanic activity is both magical and majestic. The famous Changbaishan Tianchi is located at the summit of the main volcanic peak cone. It is the largest crater lake in China and the highest crater lake in the world. If the ticket sell out or flight cancel, you will take a high-speed train from Harbin to Changbaishan 3.5 hours and transfer to Changbai mountain hotel by car around 2 hours, also from Changbaishan back to Harbin afternoon, if flight ticket sell out or cancel, you also will take high speed train back to Harbin 3.5 hours.
