Awesome experience and great value - Jarod , César and Álvaro were amazing. Views were amazing and they were amazing. I wish I could do this every day. They play music , give you drinks and food and overall a great experience

Best whale shark tour!! - There is a possibility of not seeing any whale sharks & our tour guide made that clear from the beginning but at the same time made the entire trip fun & very well worth it. We were lucky & spotted 1 at the end of our time limit but even if we didn't find one the trip was great thanks to Mario our tour guide & Louis our bus driver.

worth the long ride from Cabo - Absolutely loved my trip with Jose (aka Joe) and Captain Beto!!! i'm trying to describe it but words just aren't enough. Also appreciated that everyone really did follow the wildlife safety protocol that our host Mario described to us beforehand -- that was very important to me and it wasn't just lip service.

Finally! 24ft Shark live! - A must do if you visit Cabo! We have been chasing the elusive Whale Shark for a while now and finally got to see it up close and in the wild. Despite not optimal conditions due to weather and animal habit patterns, Mario , Cesar, Dante, and Juan were able to find a 24 foot version of this elusive creature for us to see.
A really professional operation from pick up to drop off. And even if we hadn’t found one, the day was well spent cruising the bay and enjoying a fantastic lunch by the water.
Highly recommend and would love to do again if the opportunity presents itself.
Planning factors:
1. the day starts early bc there is a 2.5 hour transit to the marina. Snacks and water provided on the bus. However there is a small cafe at the check in that has coffee and small snacks for purchase as well.
2. This activity is highly regulated by the government so the team has to stick to the timetables provided and the windows from which they can work. So key word of the day in the words of Mario is „patience“. Sometime the boats all can’t go out at the same time and therefore there can staggered starts and stops for all involved. No big deal. Just don’t make plans for the evening, throw away the watch and enjoy the day. And if you finish first the tacos are great and the bar is open at that point.
3. You are going to get home late. So again just don’t make plans.
4. This is people vs Mother Nature and while their rate of success is high, nature always gets a vote. So weather, animal patterns, and other factors that you haven’t thought of might preclude you from seeing these creatures up close. Mario was very honest with us at the beginning that this might be one of those days but the whole industry bonded together to find a shark willing to hang out. But had it not happened, it still would have been a great day.
A must do, and the team making it happen cannot be better!

Worth it - From start to finish the Cabo Adventures team was fantastic. The hotel pickup, check-in, and pre-trip briefings were super informative and entertaining. Mario explained so much about the regulations and the sharks themselves as Cesar drove us safely and comfortably to La Paz. He did a great job of managing expectations while preparing us for an amazing experience. We stopped at a great market about halfway—try the strawberries in cream! Once at the marina we were outfitted with wet suits and split into smaller groups to venture out to the permitted area. We were with Dante and Captain Juan and a great group of people who all cheered each other on and helped one another exit and reenter the boat. Our crew sped ahead to the Dunes area and we saw a small pod of dolphins before being lucky enough to get to do three swims with a 22ish foot whale shark. Even all the explanation and briefings can’t prepare you for how truly awesome these creatures are up close. On the third and best jump, Dante helped propel me to a really great spot alongside the gentle giant. Back at the marina the fish tacos in flour tortillas really hit this spot. At the end of the day we learned that due to regulations and low sightings the season will officially close for a couple weeks at least, adding to just how absolutely lucky we feel to have gotten this experience. Highly recommend this experience. Pack your patience and just live in the moment, as it is a long day, but so incredibly worth it.

Mario, Luis and Cesar showed their heart and passion for the whale sharks and their guests! - Mario, Luis and Cesar were wonderful! They did an amazing job guiding us to a once in a lifetime experience with a whale sharks. Just amazing.

Birthday Whale Shark Celebration - Mario did a great job finding a whale Shark in not so great conditions due to a cold front, only 1 shark spotted all day but we were all able to do 1 swim with it, pictures weren't that great because the water was very cloudy. Boat captain Louis was great and restaurant food was yummy.

Cancelations are common? - Should be aware there is a good chance this will be canceled due to low whale shark activity. We had the misfortune of being up for a 6am pick up, register and wait in Cabo marina for an hour to find out it was canceled. Still haven't received my refund. Not ideal 😕
