The Journey to La Paz

The day began before the sun had fully risen, with a sense of anticipation that only a marine biologist like myself could truly appreciate. As I boarded the bus at 6 a.m., I was greeted by Mario, our enthusiastic host, whose energy was infectious even at such an early hour.
