Best part of my Azerbaijan tour! - The best part of my trip to Azerbaijan was, hands down, the walking tour of the old city, rightly called “Coolest Walking Tour in Baku”, by Abdullah. From the very beginning, I was intrigued and engrossed in Abdullah’s incredible narration of the history of Azerbaijan and the world. Our common love for history and languages made this an interesting and enriching experience. The cherry on the top was that it was just me on the tour, which made it easier to have a one on one conversation and freely ask questions that I had, which Abdullah very kindly and patiently answered. I would highly recommend this tour if you’re a history buff, and even if you aren’t, trust me, Abdullah’s storytelling will have you engrossed, and the charm of old Baku will leave you breathless and in awe of its sheer beauty. Do not miss this incredible opportunity offered by a person who is so passionate about history that he will transport you to another time while being fully present in the moment.

Baku Old City Tour - Loved it. Abdullah was funny and engaging, with lots of historical tidbits that brought the sites to life. Recommend it if you’relooking for a relaxed tour that doesn’t take itself too seriously

Really the best walking tour - Abdullah has got to be the most knowledgeable tour guide EVER!!!! He weaved telling the story of Baku’s history so naturally into our conversation and it felt like being shown around town by an old friend rather than a guide. I felt lucky that I was alone on this particular tour, but I imagine that it would have been just as amazing if it were a big group. I enjoyed every aspect and came out with an understanding and respect of the rich culture of the people of Azerbaijan. Best walking tour I’ve EVER done, and I would 100% recommend him. My favorite part???? He takes excellent pictures!

Amazing walking tour in Old City with fantastic guide - Wow. I’ve done a lot of walking tours in cities and this one was terrific! Abdullah is incredibly knowledgeable - he has an encyclopedic memory - and personable. I learned so much about Baku and it’s rich history. I really appreciated his ability to share insights about the larger historical context. A great experience I would highly recommend!

A wonderful memory to take back home! - Abdulla gave us an amazing tour! With tons of history, this place is best seen with someone loves, lives and breathes the city. He took us to nooks and corners of Baku, its sizzling market, charming old city and many other places. Loved hearing his views, comparing and even challenging sometimes.

Great walking tour with Abdullah in Baku. - Had two walks with Abdullah and he was just outstanding. One was a day walk and the second a Night walk. A thorough professional and gentleman, he was dot on time and took all efforts to show us the places in Baku. A very well informed guide, he took us through the history of Azerbaijan, Baku, the culture, art and literature. His story telling technique is fabulous and what he tells us through it will last a life time. Being a walking tour guide myself in India, I was impressed and also learnt from him. Would strongly strongly recommend the " Coolest Free Walking Tour".
