It was a fantastic day ! - Divinely beautiful place! How well they decided to make a tour to these parts, not quite touristy, but completely preserving the local identity. Come here if you want to see real Azerbaijan.

Highly recommend! - We thought we have been and seen everywhere in Azerbaijan, but then suddenly met Zaoor. He has offered us a tour to the southern part of the country – Lankaran. We purchased the trip to see something different and it was beyond expectations. Adorable landscapes, well organized trail, friendly and highly informative guide Adel, delicious local cuisine left unforgettable memories. I'd like to advice you go this tour with Smile, they're very good in it!

Great experince! - We have gone to this trip with my twin and both of us really enjoyed! Transport was very comfortable, not in vain they have first place on TripAdvisor in transport.
Stop places are amazing.I especially liked lake and tea plantations.
Special thanx to our guide Alisher, he was very charismatic, his stories were interesting for all tourists to listen to.
In general, i would like to recommend this tour company, you won't regret if you choose them!

Trouble trip ever - I have went to this trip 2 days ago but it was trouble . I don’t recommend anyone to do it here is why:
First of all we stopped at 4 different markets on the way which is a wast of time, second we should have our lunch at the some good place but they took us to a restaurant with no menu and no prices . And we didn’t go to the beach to walk on the black sand .

Not the trip we had hoped for. - Most of what is promised on this itinerary was not delivered. When we pointed these discrepancies to the company, they were not responsive. We were asked to pay additional money at many stops. We were taken to lunch at a restaurant with no menu and no prices. A big surprise once the bill arrived.

Stay away from this tour, and from this company. The most unprofessional tour company that I've ever deal with. - Most of what is promised on this itinerary was not delivered. We left Baku late, stopped at four grocery stores on the way because a couple of people on the tour wanted to shop. We were then led to a restaurant for lunch that did not have a menu or prices but were told the owner would need an hour to print menus. Of course, no one at the restaurant spoke any English or could articulate what their food consisted of, and most importantly, the prices. There were no options to taste any of the local cuisine, as mentioned in the trip brochure. As expected, there were disagreements between the restaurants and some of the guests on the cost of their meal because there was absolutely no communication. The restaurant was located seaside, and apparently, this is where we were supposed to enjoy getting our feet wet in the black coastal sea...but we would have needed to jump off a rocky cliff to do that! Nearly every place that we visited on this itinerary wanted to charge us more for access or to do any activities....even to charge 2 manats to use the toilet. I've done many tours and this was a disappointing itinerary that did not deliver. The driver and the guide are not at fault as they do not plan the itinerary. So, I did what I thought was the right thing and visited the office location of Smile Azerbaijan. I explained that we felt they did not deliver on what was promised in the description. It is not even citrus season, so I am not sure why they are having people visit a citrus farm, only for the owner to ask for more money. The manager was unresponsive, barely said a word, and told me that they did what the brochure said they would do. She was very unprofessional and then wanted to call the police to make a report. This is obviously something the company is accustomed to and threatens customers when they complain. It is highly unlikely that the police would get officially involved in such a matter, but I believe smile Azerbaijan uses this as a scare tactic. However, I am not deterred and did report the company to Tripadvisor and Viator to warn other customers. Stay away from this tour, and from this company altogether. Unprofessional all the way. There are many other tour companies and better tour itineraries in the country that deliver. Do not rely on customer ratings because we did, and we now believe they purchase their ratings or provide incentives for these ratings. There is no way anyone in their right mind would rate this tour or tour company as five star.
