Azerbaijan’s cuisine boasts a vast array of traditional dishes, most of which are non-vegetarian. The extensive selection of meat dishes will delight any meat lover. The tour begins with a meeting with a local guide at one of the designated meeting points, either Fountain Square or the lobby of your hotel. From there, we proceed to the first food stop, a café on one of the central streets’ corners, where we will sample local wines paired with wine snacks. There are no restrictions on mixing white and red wine, so rest assured your stomach will handle it well. Next, we move on to taste the local street food, qutab, which comes in two varieties: with greens or with meat and sumakh. We then continue with local bread doner, available with chicken or beef. The experience concludes with a traditional tea table featuring local sweets. By the end, all guests will be satisfied, mission accomplished.
