- Bibi-Heybat Mosque - Bibi-Heybet (aunt of the stern) is a ‘pir’ located near the mountains of Baku within a large cemetery. The tomb of Bibi-Heybet, a relative of the Prophet Muhammad, is situated in a grand mosque frequently visited by Muslims. Bibi-Heybet is renowned for her miraculous healing powers. Many Muslims wish to be buried near this mosque.
- Mud Volcanoes - A mud volcano is a geological formation featuring a hole or depression in the earth’s surface, or a cone-shaped elevation with a crater, from which mud and gases are continuously or periodically erupted. These volcanoes are primarily found in oil-rich and volcanic regions.
- Gobustan Rock Art - Gobustan is one of the world’s most renowned historical and archaeological reserves, serving as an open-air museum with a vast collection of invaluable historical artifacts.
- Ateshgah - Fire Temple - The “Ateshgah” Fire-worshipper temple dates back to the second and third centuries. During this period, Zoroastrianism spread in Azerbaijan, leading to the construction of Zoroastrian temples in the region. The Ateshgah temple in Surakhani was active until the 7th century, when Islam was adopted in Azerbaijan.
- Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - Yanardag is one of the most remarkable natural attractions on the Absheron Peninsula. It is a flaming mountainside that cannot be extinguished by rain or sand and has been burning for millennia. The awe-inspiring fiery landscape is easily explained: natural gas is released from the upper layers of soil and ignites upon contact with oxygen.

Interesting and fun ! - Great experience . Would recommend to all ! 🤩 Our guide seemed very knowledgeable and was very sympathetic. He also demonstrated patience and basically did the whole job of finding my phone for me when I lost it. The itinerary was fun and interesting ! Best way to end my trip in Baku.

Extraordinary experience - It was indeed one of the best excursions I have ever participated on. All of the visited sites were very interesting as it was a mix of historical and natural "wonders". But above all our guide Reza was not only very friendly and chilled out guy but he was multi-lingual (english, russian, german and more) walking historical encyklopedia with excellent even extraordinary knowledge of all historical facts realted to the Caucasian region but even in general knowledge of history since Napoleonic wars as well of religious facts related to the region. I would rate it 10 out of 10 any time! It is a must when visting Baku..

A Day Full of Fun and Fascinating Sights in Baku - Our day didn’t start off as planned—there was a bit of a delay, and we ended up waiting at another hotel for about 40 minutes. But hey, these things happen, and once the tour kicked off, everything turned out fantastic!
World’s First Oil Well: This was a quick 10-minute stop with free entry. It’s cool to say you’ve seen it, but there isn’t much to explore here. Perfect for a quick photo op if you’re into history.
Bibi-Heybat Mosque: What a stunning spot! We got to go inside, which was a lovely experience. Ladies, don’t forget a scarf to cover your head—but I went in with a hat, and that worked too. Definitely a must-see!
Mud Volcanoes: Such a unique stop! Watching the little mud bubbles pop is oddly satisfying. We didn’t stay long (about 25 minutes), but it was just the right amount of time to enjoy this natural wonder.
Ateshgah (Fire Temple): This was hands down one of my favourite stops! The site is fascinating, and we learned so much about the Zoroastrian religion. The hour we spent here flew by—don’t miss this one!
Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain): Another really cool spot! Watching the flames dance on the hillside was mesmerising, and the 30 minutes here was perfect for soaking it all in.
Even though the day started with a hiccup, the amazing places we visited totally made up for it. If you’re up for a mix of culture, history, and natural beauty, this tour is a winner!

An exceptional tour with the most lively guide, Riad. - It was indeed one of the most mesmerizing and fun experiences I've had in a while. The trip was planned and organized perfectly, and the tour guide, Riad, was like a travel buddy to all of us. He pays attention to each of his guests, gives each of them equal attention, and on top of that, HE'S A HUMAN VERSION OF DUOLINGO. 😀
I mean it doesn't matter what language you speak, he'll manage to communicate with you in that, especially Russian, Turkish, English, Azerbaijani, and Urdu/Hindi.
With Riad being there with us, the trip just got 1000% better, and the overall experience got hard to forget.
If you're in Baku and want to have a fun experience, you must book this trip.

Great tour to see Gobustan Yanardag and others - This tour is the best way to explore interesting and remote locations outside Baku , and for decent price 55 eur via bookng including tickets and lunch at restaurant . Guide Rza speaks perfect English and very knowledgeable. Started around 9am and returned around 5pm . Comfortable Mercedes van and we were a group of only 6 tourists . Mud volcano stop was too short but rest was enough time spent .
