This mountain is a pilgrimage site for locals and has served as a navigational landmark for sailors due to its height and shape. At the base of Beshbarmag is the holy site “Pir Hydyr Zundzha,” where travelers stop to pray and worship. Your guide will share mythical stories about this place.
  • Candy Cane Mountain - Located in the Khizi and Siyazan districts of Azerbaijan, the Candy Cane Mountains are part of the Greater Caucasus range. Travel author Mark Elliott named them in his guidebook ‘Azerbaijan with Excursions to Georgia.’ The mountains’ distinctive colors are due to groundwater altering the oxidation state of iron compounds in the earth.
  • Quba Azərbaycan turalpottery - Eagle Height: Watch for eagles soaring through the Northern Caucasus mountains, a symbol of the region. These eagles often fly close to vehicles traveling through the valleys.

. - It was a super duper long drive to get to Khinaliq. The last part of the road going there is extremely bumpy so for people with motion sickness, take note. Leyla who was my guide was an absolute charm. She is very energetic and positive vibe. She also helped the group take plenty of photos during all the photo stops we made along the way. I was a little concern with the weather on the tour as I wasn’t sure what I brought was enough for the mountain. She offered to bring extra hoodies/ sweaters for us. The highlight of the day was to have lunch at one of the homes, it was a lovely setting. Unfortunately due to the long drive, we were not able to spend a lot of time in the village which is also understandable.

A must visit! I recommend. - I received unforgettable emotions on an excursion to Khinalig with guide Togrul. The mountain serpentine takes your breath away; the bravest ones can sit by the window! The indescribable beauty of Azerbaijani nature! A soulful lunch in Khinalig with a local resident surprised me with delicious, hearty, homemade food. It was a very cool and impressive excursion, which I will tell everyone about for a long time! Definitely recommend!

Great fun - An amazing trip. Very comfortable and calming. The views along the way were just breathtakingly stunning. Our guide LEYLA was a cherry on the cake. She was very informative and fun. Kept us talking and entertained throughout the trip. Did not feel like a 12 hours tour. Would highly recommend this tour and with Leyla.

Wonderful experience! - I went on this trip alone, not sure what to expect, but it turned out to be amazing. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. My guide, Nazif, was really nice and helpful. Even before the tour started, I had some problems, but Nazif helped me out, even though it was late at night. He really cares about making sure everyone has a great time. I also want to mention Layla and Ulya, who came along on the tour with us. As a solo traveler, they made me feel comfortable right away with their friendliness. They took lots of great photos of me during the trip, which was a nice touch. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants not only great service but also amazing experiences. The places we visited were even better than I imagined. And the homemade lunch we had was delicious! You should definitely book a trip with them – you won't be disappointed!

Good trip to a mountainous village - The tour was very good. We went into the mountains and up to the top The lunch was fun as it was served by a local resident. The village itself is small and rugged. My fellow travellers were wonderful as well as our guide. The only problem was that the driver went too fast over curvy narrow roads causing one passenger to get sick. But all in all it was a wonderful day.

A lot of driving and an unprofessional trip operator - This was a 10-hour trip where most of it, say 90%, was driving. The view at the top of the trip was nice but not worth the driving for me. The trip operator did not provide a pickup time the day before as written in the Viator confirmation email; we received it just before the pickup. The operator's phone number is no longer in service and they did not respond to a message I sent through Viator. The provided lunch wasn't served until 4:00 pm and 4 of the participants were charged for it, a surprise to them. This was not the trip I expected based on other reviews. I wonder if the operator changed or sold the business.

Find another provider with a safer driver - Drop off at hotel after 11 hours minibus trip. Most of the trip was spent in bus driven by maniac driver who was clocked at 162 km/ hour by one of other travellers, only slowed down when we all protested we wanted to arrive alive. Guide promised shared photos, never arrived, disappointed. At final village destination nice lunch provided then ushered into bus again by driver, no looking around at all, disappointed
