Extraordinary trekking to Mt Batur with exceptional guide Jata! - The trip was well organized but what made is exceptional was my guide Jata. I didn’t realize that the trekking will be so hard when I booked the trip. Jata helped me through the whole trip and encouraged me to go further. The views were spectacular! When we reached the top he made me hot chocolate and banana sandwich. Jata also took great photos for me. It was exceptional experience which I will remember for a long time!

Mount Batur sunrise, what an experience! - This morning we arrived at 3am to start our hike up Mount Batur to watch the sunrise. We met our friendly leaders Wayan and Setiti at base camp. We were offered tea/coffee, biscuits and waters before proceeding to receive our head torches and walking sticks. It was pitch dark at 3:30am when we began our trek. The terrain was tough but our guides were very well experienced. Once reaching the top after a few stops along the way, we were ushered to our seats. Blankets and refreshments are available for purchase at the top so don’t forget your money. Also if you don’t feel you can make it down you can hire a motorbike to take you back to base. It is very cold at the top so do wear layers. Wayan and Setiti were very accommodating taking videos and photos. The sunrise is breathtaking along with the views. I highly recommend this for anyone considering.

Wonderful Experience with our guide Agit - Wonderful experience and sunrise, we were extremely lucky to have a dry and clear day. Our guide Agit was outstanding, very knowledgable, with a great sense of humour. He took excellent photos and videos….. I can not thank him enough. Highly recommended. Private sunrise trekking tour with Agit - Myself and 2 friends did the Sunrise trek and it was amazing! Agit was our guide for the morning and he was the best!! Everything was great from the company. We booked the night before through WhatsApp which was very easy, we were told to choose between a group tour and private. There wasn’t much in the price so we opted for the private tour which was just more convenient it meant we got picked up and brought straight there rather that doing hotel pick ups and it also meant we could climb up mount Batur at our own pace. Our driver was 10 minutes early and sent a message to let us know he was here when we are ready, a very comfortable drive and a nice man. We got to the meet point where we met Agit and he gave us our head torch and actually offered to carry my friends water bottle. He checked in with us throughout and told us we could stop when we we wanted, which we did, a lot and he was more than happy told us to take our time. He kept explaining how long we had from each check point and explaining how long we had until sunrise and told us we could make it. Agit was full of encouragement and gave me the motivation I needed to reach the top! He took lots of lovely photos of us and nothing was ever too much of an ask. Thank you so much Agit, you made our morning so special!

Agit is the man ❤️ - What a day! Was picked up on time at 2:30am by our driver and taken to the drop off point, where we met Agit who honestly made this experience so much better with his great personality and sense of humour. Was very patient as it was our first mountain hike and Agit definitely made the trek easier for us, he had excellent knowledge on the volcano and its history which was pretty cool to learn about also, would 100% recommend.
