- Rip Curl School of Surf - After completing your level 1 course in Legian, it’s time to progress to the reef.

Our Level 2 courses consist of five sessions, each two hours long, covering theory, practice, and hands-on experience, designed to equip you for tackling bigger and tougher waves. The ‘Reef Surfer’ program informs you on leveraging natural currents to reach the sea’s exterior, develop skills to extract maximum speed from waves, enhance your cutbacks, better your top and bottom turns, learn to paddle behind the wave’s peak, interpret a wave’s breaking, perfect wave takeoff positioning, and enhance maneuvers like bottom turns, carving, and cutbacks. We use course books in tandem with visual instruction for maximum efficacy.
