The Ascent Begins: A Journey Through the Cretan Alps

The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon as our group of thrill-seekers and I set off on our latest adventure: the White Mountains Summit Hike in Crete. Known as the Cretan Alps, this mountain range boasts over 50 peaks that rise above 2000 meters, and our target was Pachnes, the second highest peak on the island.
