Great experience - This was so much fun! We loved being able to go to the market and see all the different things there. We were able to try fresh fruit that we can't get in the U.S. and the guide explained a lot about the local traditions. Once we got back to where we would be cooking, we were shown a family compound and were informed about how the family compounds work. We were able to cook all the dishes fairly easily and everything was delicious. We were so full that we couldn't finish it all! Great job to everyone that participated in this experience for us!!

Great experience! - Amazing experience which included a market tour and cultural tour. Our teacher/guide Visnu was knowledgeable, patient and a joy to be with. He and his partner Ketut were great! We cooked 6 delicious meals that we will cook again when we get home!

Cooking in ubud - Really enjoyed the experience-learned a lot about Balinese culture and history. The cooking was full on but our efforts were rewarded by a lovely lunch (come hungry as we couldn’t finish it)

More than just a cooking experience...a cultural one as well. Highly recommended. - We both really liked this experience...because it was more than a cooking class. First off we were transported up from Jimbaren to Bali at 6:45 am and did not get back until around 2pm. We feel much more educated about driving in Bali now! The morning cooking course started with a trip around the local market and the chance to sample some of the foods on offer. Then a short drive to the cooking school which started with a visit to a local 'çompound' where three families are living. You get an an understanding of how the families live together...what they share and what they don't. A sit down for a cup of tea or coffee and a snack before heading off to commence the class. Before the cooking started we had a short wander through the garden to see some of the ingredients we were about to use. Long story short we prepared 6 dishes which after a couple of hours we sat down and ate. The food was very tasty and Ron was an attentive and helpful head chef. Ron takes real pride in what he has created at this cooking school and it shows. Nothing was too much trouble and he was happy to answer questions on anything Balinese...not just cooking. The cooking experience was hands on and caters for all levels of experience. Toilet facilities on site are excellent....for those wondering. We thoroughly recommend this experience and Ron and his team deserve success with it.

Great family bonding experience!! - Enjoyed time with Kadek and her team- fantastic menu. Took us through the traditional methods of preparing authentic Balinese food. My kids had a great time working in the kitchen, a great family bonding experience.

Very clean and comfortable car with kind driver - An incredible experience! Oka was a very great driver with comfortable and clean car. He was very nice and made the experience very seamless between all the drop offs and pickups. Good english made it so we could understand everything he explained and have a great conversation.

Unforgettable Cooking Experience! - My husband and I were picked up at our hotel by Aris, who drove us to the Ubud area to meet our cooking instructor, Numan. Numan took us to a local market, where we were introduced to the flavors, that make up the spice found in many Balinese dishes. In addition to learning how to cook many Balinese dishes, we learned valuable information about the Balinese culture and traditions, including the number of family members residing on the same property. Numan gave us the tools and knowledge to make a traditional meal, when we returned home from Bali. Numan was a terrific host and teacher, making sure we would be able to repeat the recipes. We would highly recommend this experience as a way to immerse into the culture and traditions of Bali.

Amazing experience !! - My friend and I drove with the kindest and most patient drivers (Dede and Dika) to a local market in Ubud - an experience we’ll never forget !! Next up was the cooking class in the most beautiful scenery and with the most kindhearted people. Totally recommendable !!

Amazing! Highly recommend. - Our drivers dikka and uliandara were incredibly friendly, professional drivers and great people! The cooking class was a fun, yummy way to experience the traditions of Balinese culture, cooking and people. We learned how to cook and taste Balinese flavours with fresh ingredients through the company kdong ding. This family company was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. I would highly recommend this entire experience from the drivers to the cooking to the people, if you wish to experience beautiful people, food and culture.
