Moment of sharing - Magical moment of sharing with Ron with a tour of the local Point of Sale to show us the products purchased as well as sharing his Balinese culture. Perfect pedagogy to prepare typical and tasty Balinese dishes, a treat for taste buds and smiles. I highly recommend. Thank you Ron.

Excellent cooking class - 10/10 highly recommend! Ron is an amazing teacher and super knowledgeable. We started the morning by visiting the traditional morning market where we got to try some fruits and snack foods. Then we visited a Balinese family compound where Ron explained the architecture and family culture of Bali. We had coffee and small bites there as well. We cooked and ate the food we cooked for lunch. Everything was so flavorful. We even got the recipe from Ron. Hope we can find the ingredients in the US. If you want a chill day in and around Ubud, this class is perfect for you. All the learnings and driving is in the morning so you can go out and do other things in town in the afternoon.

Highly recommended! - We (2 adults and 2 teenagers) spent a day in Ubud and were allowed to be guests at Gusti's house on this occasion. The pickup and return transport from the meeting point worked very well. From the explanations around Gusti's village, the tea ceremony with local snacks to the carefully prepared ingredients, the cooking instructions, the beautifully decorated plate with banana leaves and the fine food, everything was perfect. The kitchen and also the toilets are kept very clean and the standard of hygiene is high. Gusti even sent us the recipe via WA. We highly recommend this trip and say thank you again!😀

Must do cooking experience in Ubud - What a fun half day I had with Ron! This is an experience I’ll never forget. Ron is not just talented in his cooking skills, in fact, you get so much more in his knowledge of the Balinese life, culture, family and community. He is very caring and takes the time to share coffee, treats, relax and just talk. I loved it! The tour of the homestead, local friends and gardens was very relaxed and I didn’t feel rushed at all. The cooking was super fun! Lots of laughs - Ron has a great sense of humour! And the food is delicious!! The aromas and freshness of each and every ingredient are wonderful! If you want authentic and sustainable Balinese cooking, have a lot of fun along the way - here’s the place to go!
