Highlights
  • Loch Lomond Sea Life Aquarium - Encounter venomous creatures like our Lionfish and Scorpion Fish and discover how these incredible predators use their deadly venom for protection and hunting. Then, come face to face with some of the reef’s top predators, including moray eels, stingrays, and a variety of sharks. Learn about our care practices for these fascinating creatures and find out how you can help protect them and their habitats.

Our new Predators of The Reef area features a £25,000 refurbishment of the former Clownfish exhibit (don’t worry, you can still ‘find Nemo’ in our corals display!). This area has been completely revamped and re-themed to highlight some of the most unusual, fierce, and venomous predators of the reef. It now offers an introduction to the food chain before visitors proceed to our Ocean Tank and Tropical Ocean Tunnel, where they’ll encounter the reef’s top predators and Scotland’s largest collection of shark species! Don’t miss Scotland’s largest collection of shark species being fed in our Ocean Tank every other day at 13:30. If the Tropical Sharks aren’t being fed on the day of your visit, then our Deep Loch Tank with Native Sharks and Rays will be!

Ever wanted to touch a starfish? Now’s your chance at our interactive Rockpools! Visit our Bay of Rays and meet Scotland’s only Cow Nose Rays!

Prepare to be amazed as you come face-to-fin with our incredible Bonnethead Sharks. These fascinating creatures are part of the Hammerhead family! Can you spot them swimming around the abandoned shipwreck in our Ocean Tunnel?

Best day out - Great day at the sea life centre in Loch Lomond. Me and my kids had a great time. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. The best part of the day was the feeding time at the otters and the sting ray following mummy through the tunnel according to my kids

Fab day - We had the best day, kids loved April, the turtle. Lots to see and do, didnt even mind the photo shoot at the start. It helped that the sun shone. 😂

Nice few hours - Enjoyed our visit. Spent about 1.5 -2 hours looking at the sea life with 10 year old, view from top over Loch Lomond is amazing, and enjoyed otter feeding time. Would be good if animal feeding time was better advertised as I had to ask about it when going in.

Overall Good experience - Beginning of a lovely family day out. Myself, my partner and son (9 months old) paid a visit to Sea Life. My son loved it, it was a very fitting place for younger kids. There was an interactive area for people to touch the fish. My only criticism is that it took us half an hour to complete the whole experience and we were by no means rushing. It therefore felt a little pricey for half an hour (we paid £36 total). This aside I would still recommend a visit I just think it’s important you know what you’re paying for.

Fun day away with the kids - What was there was good and well presented; there just wasn't an awful lot too see! You can get round fairly quickly, however definitely stop and watch the otters and the turtle. What was excellent was the staff. In particular the young lady at the rock pool you could pop your hands in was very helpful and informative, and the lady at the till in the cafe upstairs was extremely friendly and welcoming Nice to see at the time but not a lot to rush back and see again. Kids enjoyed it

Disappointed - Visited recently and there are beautiful sealife to see but really dissappointed that I paid £57 to where it literally took us less than an hour to see all the animals, the cinema showed octonauts where I think it would be more beneficial with some documantaries about the rescues or pollution and that would help towards thinking your getting something more for your money. Reading the story about April was lovely but she didn't move position the three times we went past her which was cause for concern. Overall it didn't seem worth the money.

Not worth the money - £57 is steep for what it is and £15 for a 2 and a half year old is a total joke. the bottom floor is the only floor with any sea creatures, you can see everything in 10 so value for money is pretty terrible. Typical tourist trap.

Animal cruelty - The place is really dirty, needs a good clean in and out of the tanks. Fish look miserable and sad. Big fish in tiny tanks!!!
