Then, come face to face with some of the reef’s top predators, including moray eels, stingrays, and a variety of sharks. Our new Predators of The Reef area features a £25,000 refurbishment of the former Clownfish exhibit (don’t worry, you can still ‘find Nemo’ in our corals display!). This area has been completely revamped and re-themed to highlight some of the most unusual, fierce, and venomous predators of the reef. It now offers an introduction to the food chain before visitors proceed to our Ocean Tank and Tropical Ocean Tunnel, where they’ll encounter the reef’s top predators and Scotland’s largest collection of shark species! Don’t miss Scotland’s largest collection of shark species being fed in our Ocean Tank every other day at 13:30. If the Tropical Sharks aren’t being fed on the day of your visit, then our Deep Loch Tank with Native Sharks and Rays will be!
Ever wanted to touch a starfish? Now’s your chance at our interactive Rockpools! Visit our Bay of Rays and meet Scotland’s only Cow Nose Rays!
Prepare to be amazed as you come face-to-fin with our incredible Bonnethead Sharks. These fascinating creatures are part of the Hammerhead family! Can you spot them swimming around the abandoned shipwreck in our Ocean Tunnel?
