A Belfast must, especially for GOT fans! - Top experience even in the rain! A lovely guy, insightful and fun. With great anecdotes from his tours, Northern Ireland culture and time on set with GOT, especially the battles. Also very accommodating and great communication throughout. Highly recommended. Thanks for everything Richard the Wilding, you made our day.

Don't Miss this Tour! - I can't say enough great things about the private tour with Richard! He was an absolutely lovely guide with tons of information and passion around Game of Thrones and the areas visited along the tour. Super accommodating, flexible, friendly and just an overall joy to spend the day with. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe and comfortable and highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves Game of Thrones or even if you're simply looking for a knowledgeable and enjoyable tour guide to show you some of the best of Northern Ireland!

An incredible tour - I'd highly recommend it! - We stayed in Northern Ireland for a week and this tour was the absolute highlight of our holiday. Richard was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. We got to see parts of Northern Ireland that you simply could not get to on a bus. Hearing about Irish history, as well as links to the series Game of Thrones was fascinating - it was exciting being driven by Richard who has appeared in several episodes of the show. What an amazing coastline there is to see. The car was really comfortable with plenty of leg-room for all and provided a great view. Thank you Richard for showing us your wonderful country!

100% worth it - This is an incredible tour. As well as seeing loads of locations from Game of Thrones you benefit from the wealth of experience Richard had on the actual set as well as the 1000s of stories he has learnt from other extras and the hundreds of fans he has met. It may seem expensive but being in a small group means you see every detail, have every question answered and have an even more incredible time. You also get to wear capes and hold swords.. what more do you want ?!?

100% worth it - Wow. If you want to see loads of locations from game of thrones, learn 100s of on set facts and to play around in capes with gorgeous replicas of the actual swords this is the one! It may seem expensive but it is so worth it for the amount of places you see and things you literally could not learn anywhere else. Richard is so warm and friendly and was an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate guide it was so nice to be with someone who loved the show as much as we did. Top tip February was super quiet so we got all our pics with no NPCs

Bucket List Tour - As an experienced traveller and tour goer, I have never quite experienced as good a tour as this one. Richard the Wildling was personable, funny and incredibly knowledgable. We travelled in style and comfort and the entire tour with all the little details made it the most memorable experience imaginable. If I could give this 100 stars, I would. We were laughing and talking from the moment we were picked up to the moment we got dropped off. Richard knew every answer to our questions and gave us some behind the scene knowledge too. Wish I could experience the whole thing again!

If you haven’t yet…. You NEED to tour with Richard!!!! - If you can sum up all the amazing things you hear about Irish hospitality and roll it into a person, it would be Richard. Richard was so nice to us and knowledgeable and you could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a good tour. This was our second day as tourists from the states, and let me tell you the rest of our trip has some competition. Richard set the bar extremely high. If you are even remotely considering this tour, let me help with a decision. DO IT!! Absolutely no regrets and your time will be valued by someone who will show you around and give amazing stories and history!!

Best way to experience Westeros! - Where to begin. The private tour with Richard the Wildling is quite possibly the single most memorable experience I've ever had ... certainly on the three-week trip to Great Britain this month. Richard picked us up at the hotel we were staying at (Titanic Belfast) and took us south of the city to Tollymore Forest (a magical place if ever there was one), Audley's Castle, Castle Ward (which doubled for Winterfell) and Inch Abbey (which I LOVED) and numerous filming cites for Game of Thrones. He presented photo stills and specific video clips of the scenes where the locations were used. At the Abbey, we donned Stark cloaks and swords and had several photos taken. While on the tour, I received word that the bus tour for the second excursion the following day was cancelled. Richard volunteered to take us on the private tour himself. And we could not have been more pleased. Day Two followed the first one - Richard picked us up at the hotel - but we ventured north of Belfast stopping at Carrickfergus castle (my sentimental request), the quarry that inspired the wall, Cushendun cave (aka Melisandre's cave), Ballintoy (Iron Islands; donned Greyjoy garb), awesome Giant's Causeway (UNESCO world heritage site) and Dark Hedges (another heritage site). The weather was cool, brisk and moody ... perfect for hiking and sightseeing. We were so fortunate to have had the opportunity of Richard for the two days. What's more the second day was unplanned so was a complete treat. Richard is not only knowledgeable of the locations and the show (he was an extra in two special episodes), he was quite simply the best company we could have asked for. As I reflect on the two days, I can say that the tours were exceptional ways of discovering the beauty of Northern Ireland. One does not need to be a fan of the show to enjoy the tour. The sites that one visits are spectacular and singularly Irish. That there was a television production that took advantage of the rugged beauty provides an additional layer of intrigue. I recommend fully these tours. Frankly, it's the only way to see this gorgeous country.
