Entertaining tour through Bamberg with "smoked beer" finish - It was a varied and entertaining tour through Bamberg's city center. In addition to lots of information about Bamberg and its history, there were a few little things to try. The focus was, of course, on specialties from Bamberg.

Bamberg is worth a visit at any time of year - We stayed at the Hotel Messerschmitt, a beautiful hotel with friendly and attentive staff.

Beautiful tour for the senses - We all really enjoyed the tour. The friendly tour guide told us lots of exciting historical facts about Bamberg's food history, which we were then able to experience (or rather taste ;)) through small samples. We were with a larger group and then went to the nearest beer cellar with plenty of appetite and good humor.

There is still room for improvement - Mass processing... instead of a maximum of 25 people, we were a group of just under 40 people... the tour itself was very informative. A few funny anecdotes would have spiced up the previous day a bit.
