- Bamberg Cathedral - You will start your tour in front of the Cathedral, also known as the imperial cathedral of St. Peter and St. George. This historical landmark of Bamberg is one of the most visited touristic attractions from this lovely town, packed with art treasures. Inside the Cathedral you will admire the very impressive marble tomb of Emperor Heinrich II and his wife, the Empress Kunigunde or the tomb of Pope Clement II, the only papal grave in Germany. Another popular attraction is an equestrian statue known as the Bamberg Horseman that dates from the 13 th century and supposedly depicting the Hungarian king Stephen I.

Get to know Bamberg up close!! - Natascha was amazing. Despite the rough weather and the torrential rain, she was full of enthusiasm, shared so much about the history of Bamberg, and still managed to show us all the amazing sights. Overall, this was such a great walking tour, and I would recommend this for everyone wanting to learn more about this beautiful town.

Great Guide, highly enjoyable - Our guide Horst was personable, courteous, and competent. He added some humor and the tour was 2 hours but we overran the time without issue. We overtipped him with pleasure. I would recommend Horst very highly

Bamberg is amazing and so was our guide - Our guide, Horst, shared details that you wouldn’t find in a guidebook, related to his personal experiences, growing up 2 miles from East Germany, having a US base in the town, etc. his historical knowledge was outstanding as well as his English.

Beautiful Bamberg - Our guide, Hersch, was fabulous. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and had answers to all of our questions. He also had good suggestions for what we could do on our own. Highly recommend this tour.

Bamber was a gem and Horst made it exceptional - Horst was an exceptional tour guide. He has a wealth of knowledge about the town, all with a lot of self-deprecating humor. What could have been a lengthy history lesson, became and engaging and interesting introduction to Bamberg. This was by far due to our tour with Horst. I can't recommend it enough. In fact, Bamberg was by far our favorite stop on our 12-day journey in Germany.

Great tour of Bamberg - We enjoyed our tour of Bamberg with Eberhard. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We found him to be an inspiring human that keeps busy and serving! It was fortunate to have our tour fall on Corpus Christi and see the traditional celebrations surrounding it. Our tour made Bamberg so much more meaningful to us. We’d love to visit again next time we’re in Germany.
