Amazing opportunity to be with elephant's! - My husband and I had a wonderful time on the elephant excursion. Our guide Seven was very knowledgeable and informative. We enjoyed making food, feeding, and bathing the elephants. The sanctuary is set under nicely and everyone was super friendly. At the end we were served a delicious Thai meal.

A Memorable Experience :) - This was a very nice experience from start to finish! The driver did a fine job of getting us to and from the sanctuary. Once we arrived, we were led by our guide, "Rambo". He was so pleasant and friendly and clearly truly cares about the elephants. We were provided with hats, tops, pants, and short boots to change into. We spent a lot of time with the elephants, and Rambo taught us about them throughout. The elephants seemed well-cared for and happy. We prepared food for them and fed them directly . Eventually we accompanied the elephants to a pond. We opted not to get into the water with them but others in our group did. When our time with the elephants ended, we showered and changed back into our own clothes. Before leaving, the sanctuary served us a delicious and beautifully presented lunch. We were not expecting such a nice meal! Everything was so good. It was a lovely finish to our visit.

Bucketlist done - Experience of a lifetime. Made medicine, cut up corn and learned about the elephants at RanTong. Our host Seven was knowledgeable and respectful and had great sense of humor. The elephants were well cared for and it's good the caretakers of the baby elephants don't allow touching but only feeding from visitors. Got lots of kisses from the older baby elephant to.

Beautiful sanctuary for elephants - Beautiful sanctuary for elephants. They have 10 elephants from about 4 to 70 years old. The staff seems to care and care very much for the animals. I did the half-day morning activity. You should arrive with a bathing suit and bring a change of linen. First you put on their uniform and hat, then you take a short walk among the elephants to get to know them briefly and give them leaves to eat, prepare food for them and feed them again walking (they have to walk as much as possible) and finally you can wash them in the puddle with a bucket and brush. It gets very dirty so after you can take a nice shower and is offered a delicious lunch (pad thai and fruit). The sanctuary is about 70/80 minutes by car. They'll still pick you up and take you back to the hotel.

Poor communication and no way to contact - Pick up never arrived and there was no communication from the tour guide. Waited from 7am-8am. Local number listed on Tripadvisor is not a working number. Messaged them days before on TripAdivsor, no response. Sadly, was very much looking for to this experience.
