- Kampong Ayer - Venice of the East - The historic Kampong Ayer is considered the largest Water Village settlement globally.
This centuries-old Kampong Ayer was named “Venice of the East” by Venetian Antonio Pigafetta, who sailed to Brunei with Ferdinand Magellan’s flagship “Victoria” in 1521.
- Damuan Park (Taman Persiaran Damuan) - Established in 1986, the Damuan Recreational Park spans a kilometer of riverfront with a jogging path and picturesque views.
Within the park lies the ASEAN Square, showcasing the work of a sculptor from each of the original six ASEAN member countries.
- Makam di Luba - Situated on the serene and tranquil Luba Island, this is the mausoleum of Sultan Husain Kamaluddin, Brunei’s 16th Sultan.
He is the only Sultan to have ruled twice and abdicated twice, reigning from 1710 to 1730 and reclaiming the throne from 1737 to 1740.
- Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge - The RIPAS bridge, named after Her Majesty the Queen, is a distinctive feature of the capital’s skyline.
Officially opened on 14th October 2017, it marks another milestone in His Majesty the Sultan’s 50-year reign.
This 750-meter landmark bridge is the world’s second-longest single-pylon cable-stayed bridge.
