White Crater - After breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM to Ciwidey, stopping by a rice field area and a coffee luwak home industry, known for producing one of the most expensive coffees processed by civet cats before roasting. Continue to Kawah Putih lake (7.10° S 107.24° E), one of the two craters of Mount Patuha, an andesitic stratovolcano. Mount Patuha is one of many volcanoes in Java.

Tea Country, PTPN 8 - Continue driving to Rancabali, stopping at a tea plantation area. Here, we will take a short walk through the plantation, enjoy the beautiful surrounding panorama, take nice pictures, and then continue walking to Rengganis Crater.

Rengganis Crater - Rengganis Crater is one of the most interesting craters around the south of Bandung. This narrow river valley steams and bubbles with volcanic activity. Locals have created artificial ponds near thermal springs of varying temperatures, some with bamboo pipes for a hot “shower.” The newest and largest of these pools, which is also the most accessible, is heart-shaped. Pools of warm mud offer the opportunity for a mud spa, touted to have medicinal benefits for your skin. Relax and enjoy the hot springs. Then, continue driving to Garut, stop for lunch at a Sundanese restaurant, and stay overnight in Garut.

Papandayan Tour - Kampung Naga - Tasik

Mount Papandayan - Early morning at 4:00 AM, drive to the spectacular Papandayan volcano. Trek for 30 minutes to the sunrise point, have a simple breakfast, and enjoy the sunrise. Then, continue walking to explore the volcanic activity. Travelers can have a great walking experience at one of the most active volcanoes in Java, with a 4-5 hour walk exploring various volcanic features and a warm lake, milky blue-green in color from the last eruption in 2002. After enjoying the volcano, drive to Tasik. On the way, the beautiful terraced rice field views can be seen all the way to Tasikmalaya. Make a stop at Kampung Naga.

Kampung Naga - Here, we will explore a traditional village and museum piece of Sundanese architecture and village life. This community strongly adheres to ancestral traditions. The differences are visible when compared with other communities outside Kampung Naga. The community lives in an atmosphere of traditional simplicity and environmental wisdom. Continue driving to Tasik to drop off at the bus station if you want to continue to Pangandaran Beach, at the train station if you prefer to continue to Jogjakarta by night train, or at a hotel in Tasik. Alternatively, return to Bandung to finish the program.
