Do not join this tour, it's a disappointment. - Do not join this trip. Maybe the first 6 days of the 8 day trip were wonderful, but this trip that takes up the last 2 days is definitely not worth the cost of $400+/person. We flew from Vancouver to Banff to join this tour, excited to visit all of the locations that are listed on the website. However, the tour guide told us in the morning on the second day that due to a fire last year, we were not able to visit the village nor the tunnel. Something like this should have been taken into consideration on the itinerary - an entire year to reflect the change of itinerary on the website. So on the 2nd day, we only visited the Okanagan lake in the morning/lunch, and the town of Hope in the afternoon. We basically wasted our entire day. We were more than disappointed as we have flew in from Vancouver specifically to join in on the trip and expected to visit all of the places mentioned. Also, the rest of the people joined in from the first day, so they knew what to expect when we got to the hostel. However, it was me and my friend's first and only night staying at the hostel, but we received no instructions as to the logistics of things. When we got to the hostel, everyone quickly grabbed the keys, leaving the 3 of us allocated to 2 different rooms. It was quite inconvenient as we had items/toiletries stores at each other's luggage. We understand that the driver/guide was tired from all of the driving...but it would be much appreciated if some kind of instructions were given, some extra information were provided to newcomers.
