Moraine Lake - The day starts at the breathtaking Moraine Lake, nestled in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Please note this is a seasonal stop.

Lake Louise - Experience the beauty of Lake Louise, one of the most famous and photographed lakes in the world!

Crowfoot Glacier - Discover why it’s named Crowfoot Glacier.

Mistaya Canyon - Enjoy an easy walk down to the impressive Mistaya Canyon.

Icefields Parkway - Tonight, stay in a rustic wilderness hostel by Rampart Creek, Mosquito Creek, or the Athabasca River. Take a dip in the creek, relax in the wood-burning sauna, and enjoy a campfire under the stars.

Wilderness to Nordegg

Abraham Lake - Arrive at the stunning Abraham Lake, known for its rugged peaks and striking ice bubbles in winter.

Nordegg - Spend the rest of the day at the incredible Wilderness Hostel, enjoying a home-cooked meal, stargazing, and an optional sauna.

Nordegg to Banff

Banff National Park - Continue down the Icefields Parkway with a stop at the beautiful Hector Lake viewpoint.

Waterfowl Lakes - Visit Waterfowl Lakes to admire the backdrop of Mount Chephren, named after the 4th Dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh.

Hector Lake - Make another stop at the gorgeous Hector Lake viewpoint as you continue down the Icefields Parkway.

Banff - Return to Banff for a group dinner. Afterward, explore Banff’s nightlife or relax in the Banff Upper Hot Springs.

Discover the essence of Canada with our 3-day Athabasca tour! Journey along the Icefields Parkway, renowned as one of the world’s most picturesque routes, through the majestic Rocky Mountains in Banff National Park. Encounter stunning glacial lakes like Peyto Lake, towering snow-capped peaks, pristine rivers, and roaring waterfalls, all while spotting Canada’s diverse wildlife, including bears, elk, moose, and bighorn sheep. Enjoy hikes, swimming, and capture those perfect Insta-moments as we make stops along the way!

Note: The Athabasca tour comprises the middle 3 days of the 8-day Caribou tour. Some fellow travelers will have started their adventure in Vancouver before you join, and some will continue back to Vancouver after you finish.

Moose tours cater to 18 to 39-year-olds, but all adventurous travelers aged 18+ are welcome.

• Minimum age is 18 years
• Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
• Luggage Restrictions: Each passenger is restricted to one reasonably sized main backpack, bag, or suitcase to be stored in the bus luggage compartment, with a maximum allowable weight of 23kg (50lbs) and maximum linear dimensions (Height + Width + Depth) of 158cm (62in). In addition, each passenger may bring one small daypack that will be carried in the passenger compartment of the bus. Moose reserves the right to refuse to accept luggage that exceeds our weight and/or size restrictions. Moose will not cover any storage costs incurred by the client as a result. If Moose chooses to accept overweight or oversize luggage, we will charge a fee of $50 per bag for overweight/oversize pieces. Note that the decision to accept an overweight/oversize piece can only be made at departure.

If you cancel between 2 and 6 day(s) before the scheduled departure time, you will receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, you will receive a 0% refund.
