Then load into a 12-seater Big Canoe and journey up the beautiful Bow River. Let our guide entertain you with fun facts, keep an eye out for wildlife and take in the stunning views. Many groups like our River Explorer Tour because no experience is necessary and everything is supervised by a qualified guide. Your tour will be followed by a light refreshment at the end. This tour is perfect for the whole family and It’s a fun and interactive way to explore the waterways of Banff National Park.

Fun & Informative Canoe Ride - Alec was such an amazing and knowledgable guide! I learnt many new things about the wildlife in Banff, and we're on a canoe tour! He has such great passion that it made me super excited for the ride. His stories were the best, we learnt about The Boss from him and I wished we did see him! It was such a fun and chill canoe ride, absolutely love it.

Fun time for this hiking weary visitor!! Really enjoyed the canoe trip and group - Our tour guide was great and knowledgeable. The Bow River was beautiful. Our group was fun. Amazing bird calls from tour guide!

Loved every moment of it! - One of the most enjoyable and peaceful couple of hours of my time in Banff. Being on the water surrounded my beautiful scenery and mountains was magical. Our guide (Aussie whose name I forget 10 days on - sorry!) was brilliant; friendly, entertaining and informative. I felt safe on the boat and it was very little effort with at least 12 of us on board. Highly recommend!

Fun little jaunt. - Hoped to see wild life and were not disappointed. OK, so we didn't see a bear (had fingers crossed but knew it was a long shot), but a muskrat and bald eagle were good to see.

Highly Recommend Big Canoe Tour - I had a terrific time on my tour this morning- perfect weather & fantastic scenery. Alec was an awesome guide, very passionate about nature and great at sharing the area history via fun stories. His bird calls are very cool also! Thanks for a great morning.

Fun group activity - Beautiful views and a fun group activity. The tour guides really do their best to make sure you have a good time. Bri was excellent! Such a fun personality and very educational too!

Rowing in the rain - Although it was raining quite heavily, Jacob did a good job in keeping us entertained despite the adverse weather. I would still recommend the tour as it could be an opportunity to spot some wildlife!
