Highlights
- Olympic Building - Explore more of what Banff has to offer, by e-bike! Ride with your guide on your very own e-bike to take in the serenity of Vermilion Lakes, the shaded forests of the Legacy Trail dedicated bike path. From there we travel the world famous Bow Valley Parkway section, closed to vehicle traffic, en route to Banff’s most popular day hike at Johnston Canyon. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the canyon to the spectacular Lower Falls Bridge, before meeting your return vehicle shuttle to Banff.
Note: The Bow Valley Parkway is closed to vehicles June and September. For 2023, Parks Canada is reopening the Bow Valley Parkway to vehicle traffic during the months of May, July, August and October. Traffic is limited to 60km/hr. Bike traffic will remain on the wide road shoulders.

PERFECT MORNING!! - Loved the e-bikes and emilllo made the whole morning fun!! Highly recommend this excursion!! Even tho we didn’t see any wildlife the scenery was amazing

Exploring the the National Park by bike - This is a great activity. We are experienced cyclists but It was our first time on e-bikes and I think we might be converted! The 18 mile cycle ride through the national park was brilliant, with amazing scenery and a great guide, Shaun, who made it really interesting, stopping on route to the Canyon at various sites of interest and beauty. I highly recommend this activity.

Worthwhile trip - Enjoyed this with our grown up kids. Shuttle to a busy Johnston canyon for a short walk to the Lower falls (it’s described as a hike but it isn’t it’s a short walk). Really enjoyed the e-bikes back to Banff. Overall very good and well organised.

Great guide turned lousy weather into a fun afternoon - Our guide Scott was great even though the weather wasn’t. We had to flex from the planned itinerary given the rain and Scott was able to create an engaging afternoon of sites, hikes, scenery, and history. Thanks Scott! Tom and Joe

Beautiful scenery and fun ride and hike. - Fun bike and hike tour! Beautiful scenery and great guide (from Patagonia). He shared his knowledge of the local history and geology with us. Would definitely recommend.

Great tour - Our guide, Marie, was professional capable and delightful. I would be happy to tour with her again. The hike and bike combo couldn’t be beat the scenery was the main event.

Great tour! - Great bike/hike tour! E-bikes made it easy for the 18 mile drive thru beautiful scenery. The hike wasnt too difficult. Beautiful river and amazing waterfall at the end. Marie was our guide and she was amazing!

Great bike ride - Beautiful bike ride through beautiful surroundings. Our Guide cycled ahead but gave no further explanation or explanation during the route itself. The bikes are electric mountain bikes and we went between 25 and 35km per hour.

Little Scary - Sadly for me, this was not enjoyable. I did not realize most of the ride was along a narrow shoulder on a busy road with buses and cars. I was pretty scared the entire ride and wish the ride hadn't been on a busy, narrow road, Johnstson Canyon was beautiful, but it was so crowded and the walking trail so narrow, it made the walk so-so. Our guide was great and the bikes were good, it was just not fun for me as I found it pretty frightening.
