A perfect day out in wonderful scenery - After having knee surgery I was concerned that I would struggle with the walking in this trip, but Nolan was amazing! Apart from making sure I was ok, he helped me in so many ways, for example, putting on my ice cleats and always being considerate and thoughtful. At the same time, he was a mine of information and shared his knowledge with all of us in a lively way, answering everyone’s questions. Nolan made a point of talking to everyone on the trip and made us all welcome. He made sure we all had the opportunity to visit ‘restrooms’ (toilets) which is actually very important when out for the day! There were plenty of opportunities for taking photos at the amazing places we visited and Nolan offered to take photos of individuals or families. At the end of the day, he offered to drop everyone off at a convenient location, which was welcome after a full day out. Nolan was a cheerful, polite and very friendly guide and I have no hesitation in recommending him, and Radventures if you are looking to book a tour.

Highlight of Banff in Winter! - Definitely the highlight of our Banff trip. Michael F., our guide was fantastic, ensuring we had a safe and fun experience. Skating on Abraham Lake was amazing. The scenery is spectacular. Snowshoeing at bow lake was fun. Hiking to Peyto Glacier was great and he helped spot big sheep horn. He took great photos of us as well. Super knowledgeable guide. Learned so much about the area. Do this tour!

Amazing tour, definitely book it! - This has to be my favorite tour. It was a total of 3 people which was perfect. We were able to take our time and enjoy every bit of this tour. Our tour guide was Tyler who was very knowledgeable and a great conservationist. Our group was great. The icefields were amazing and we got there just in time. As we were leaving a huge tour group was coming out on the ice. Radventures knew the perfect time to get to where we needed so we could get some great photos. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Amazing - It was amazing tour- Taylor was so informative and energetic. Also it was so nice that there were only 3 of us on this tour. The hot chocolate definitely gave me a boast after a very cold weather. Definitely will book again with them when coming one summer.

Great experience! - It was a fantastic experience. Fortunately, the weather was very good and the road conditions were nice. Our guide Rae is a very energetic and kind young lady who has answered thousands of questions about the national park areas and other things and always makes our safety a priority. The hot chocolate in the afternoon just boosts the experience! Thanks very much for taking photos for us!

Beautiful drive! - I had Nolan as my driver today for the Abraham lake tour. He's extremely welcoming and sociable. The weather wasn't in our favour at times so we spent many hours in the van but he got us all involved in conversation and made it a fun environment. Very knowledgable about the area, the wildlife, the lakes. Definitely the type of driver I want and enjoy on these small tours and never made us feel like we had to rush anything and went at our pace. Would 100% book a tour again under Nolan!!

Best trip ever. Worth the price. Very reasonable - It is a must do winter experience. It was stress free as we did not have to do the driving and we saw glaciers, frozen waterfalls, frozen lakes and most importantly the frozen bubbles of Lake Abraham. You could gawk in awe at the wonder that is the Canadian Rockies. We are now spoiled for mountains in America. We had Tess as a guide from Radventures and she was a 5 star guide. She was engaging, knowledgeable and took her job seriously. She included all of us on the trip and make us all feel like an integral part of the trip. Yes Tess' mom, she rocked it (You are welcome Tess and you did not have to pay us). We would do this trip again and highly recommend it.

Get out and see this part of the world - in Canada - Wow- what a great day! From hiking in to Peyto Lake in crampons, to all the beauty seen along the icefields parkwayand finally the ice bubbles- like alien bubble villages encased in ice. Awesome. The van/bus comfortable and clean and booking was easy with radventures Canada. They answered many of my questions ( we wanted to order a bag lunch and snow shoes) before booking- very friendly and professional company to work with. Our guide, Tyler ( or as I called him Kyle - inside joke) was professional , personable and very knowledgeable. He answered so many of our questions while also was able to give us so much information about where we were going, what we were seeing as well as the history of the area. You can tell he loved his job. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. And he’s a good driver . Well worth the cost and time. The day flew by! Lots of memories to return home with. Thank you.

100% one of our top three experiences in Canada - Our Australian family of four spent a month in Canada and did all sorts of tours and experiences but skating on Abraham Lake was unanimously voted as one of the top three experiences for every single member of our family. It kind of sits in one of those "things to do before you die" lists (especially for those of us who live in places where this isn't something we could usually dream of doing). The methane lakes are absolutely stunning and we are so grateful that we booked this experience. Geo was our tour guide and he managed the tour well. Very helpful with making sure we had what we needed and ensuring that those of us who were unsteady on the ice were feeling confident. My husband actually said that skating on the lakes was one of the best things he's done in his life (this is high praise as we travel a LOT and he's had all manner of amazing experiences around the world). This is a wonderful tour to enjoy some of the unique experiences of the region. Make sure you dress warmly. Really warmly. This tour definitely required warmer clothing than the other tour we did with this company to Lake Louise and Johnston Canyon. It's a good idea to just purchase the lunch on this one too. The Johnston Canyon tour you could easily grab your own lunch if you didn't want to preorder but that is not the case with this one. It's more remote, there is a lot of driving and you won't be finding anywhere to grab a bite on the way. Both tours we did with Radventures were great. This is the one to choose if you want something a little bit different and off the beaten tourist path a smidge though.
