There is also a fantastic nature trail leading up the highest mountain of the Mu Ko National Park.

Depending on the tides, the final snorkeling stop will be at Island No. 5, home to the ‘Garden of Eels,’ or at Island No. 7, Koh Hin Pousar, known for its Elephant head-shaped rock. Then, return to the pier in Khao Lak, where the driver will safely transport you back to your hotel.

Beaches that dreams are made of! - We had already booked the Phi Phi islands tour but decided at the last minute to also do the Similan island tour. We are so happy we did! The pristine white sand beaches and multi colored shades of blue waters are like no other we’ve seen. The tour gave us plenty of time to enjoy each the multiple activities provided. Snorkeling, relaxing on the beach and even a quite challenging steep terrain hike up to the top of the island made it memorable. Our tour guides Khao & Jake were very professional, safe and did an outstanding job making the day most enjoyable for us. Some unfortunate people got sea sickness so be forewarned that the speed boat ride to and from can be a little rough if you’re not used to it. Mostly depends on the weather how rough it will be. Definitely do the early bird option to avoid the huge crowds. Even if you do other island tours, include this one for sure, it was definitely worth it!

Relaxing Scenery - If you can make yourself set an alarm clock while your on holiday, I would do so. The day long trip is well worth every penny. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable & English is widely spoken. You are well catered for too, breakfast & lunch was very good (lunch consisted of chicken salad) plenty of soft drinks too. We had 2 set times for snorkelling 1 for each island landed & visited. You were given more than enough time on both visits. Yes some damage has been done to the reefs, but there is still enough to keep you interested & fish spot. We went in high season (February) we were very pleasantly surprised by how quite the beaches were, along with the snorkelling sites. Perhaps this was down to the lack of visitors from other countries currently in the news headlines. That said, great care is made not to have too many people in one place at a time. For example we couldn’t get off our boat into the beach until the pervious boat had pick up its visitors & left. Nobody gets swamped. There are certain islands areas you snorkel but cannot go ashore. Due to turtles lay eggs on these beaches. Any island you do visit has basic amenities so you can use washrooms buy a ice cream etc. & time to explore within designated areas If that’s what you wish?. We did also observe the Thailand Navy making sure everyone keeps to the rules. After all you are in a ‘National Park’

Amazing! Definitely glad I chose this company! - If you’re reading this then I hope you pick this company. It’s a genius idea going earlier as we got to empty the beaches nearly empty before the crowds hit. Got a good amount of time at each beach and so much time for snorkeling. Staff are super friendly and easy to talk to!

Amazing trip - making memories - This was an awesome trip and worth the early morning. Our boat had 12 adults and 5 kids with both German and English speakers. We had two guides who were brilliant - Denis and Panda. The boat was comfortable and the hospitality was first class. Both snorkeling stops were perfect and we saw lots of different fish including Nemo which my boys loved. This was a very sleek operation and you never felt part of a crowd. We were always at the islands and snorkeling spots away from other boats. When we left our final island stop we noticed other boats with 30+ passengers. Breakfast and lunch were fine and all you needed. I would definitely recommend this trip, and if I return next year I will be sure to visit the Surin islands with this company. Thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous! Great crew and experience thanks to Siam Adventure - My experience visiting the Similan Islands with Siam Adventure World was amazing!! A big shout out to Don and Ray who were great at providing information and making sure guests stayed hydrated throughout the trip. With tours it can be easy to be made to feel like a cow being herded from one place to another. That's usually because of bad communication and expectations (time at sites) not being well explained or planned. That was NOT my experience with Siam Adventure World. The entire crew was friendly and helpful and the day was thoughtfully planned out. For instance, when we stopped for lunch, we were taken to a smaller beach as the larger beach on the same island was known to be crowded with other tourists participating in other tours. Pick up for the early bird tour was on time and all went smoothly as it was scheduled through Krabi Store. Check-in at the pier was great, all were provided a light breakfast (cereal, toast, brewed coffee (not instant), juice, and small pastries). Depending on the tour you were on, at check-in were given a colored bracelet to wear during the tour. My tour had English and German speakers (about 20 people, possibly less). While both guides assisted everyone with getting on and off the boat, and questions and concerns they may have, instructions and information were given in both languages. Information regarding safely and marine life were given orally and at the start of our trip on our way to the first island (Number 8), a few laminated sheets with safety information and marine life (fish, coral etc.) were passed around. Don speaks English well and Ray speaks Swiss German and English. Both were easy to understand. No annoying or random jokes. Just two easy to get along with gents providing an awesome experience. There was plenty of room on the boat that looked practically new. It did not feel crowded nor did it ever get loud. Don and Ray were great about setting expectations (how long it would take to get from Island X to the other, when lunch would be served and on what island, where we were allowed to swim due to safety and preservation of marine life/the park, and how long we would be at each island when we got there). They'd blow the horn at the 5 min mark to alert everyone of the time left. I'd set a timer for myself when we'd stop at the beaches so that I could give myself enough time to return to the boat (it's easy to get distracted trying to take that "one last" picture. Guides carry a lot of responsibility and you don't make it any easier for them if you don't act respectfully and also stay on top of returning to the boat on time. The tour was amazing. We were the second boat to arrive to Island No. 8 which was our first. We were provided the option (before we even arrived, allowing people time to make a decision and listen for instructions) to either make the short hike up to the view point or enjoy the beach. Snorkeling was also a great experience. I never felt unsafe as I could see Don and the observing those in the water and offering assistance. I am not the best swimmer and when Don and Ray noticed I was not swimming very fast, they asked if I was ok and wanted a life jacket. I am very happy with my decision to select Siam Adventure World for my tour and will definitely reach out to them again for other tours in the future.
