Snorkelling trip - Extremely professional set up, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Breakfast buffet on arrival, full debriefing in multiple languages, prescription goggles available if required, sea sick tablets, towels, buffet lunch, buffet tea when arriving back after the trip. Stopped to do 3 snorkel swims, beach stop, sea gypsy stop. Guides were amazing Really couldn’t have asked for anything more

A must!! - This trip was amazing! Having been on many day trips from Phuket, the Surin Islands were a little piece of serenity, not as flooded with tourists as other closer-to-Phuket-tours are. Snorkeling was spectacular! Guides were well informed. Lovely lunch (although I was surprised Shark Fin soup was an option- I thought this had been mostly banned, excuse my first world ignorance) Best yet! We saw a whale on the trip back. Purely magic! Thanks Seastar

Enjoyable day out snorkelling - An enjoyable day out on the water with three separate snorkelling stops. Saw lots of different fish and coral at each stop. Lunch was just okay, but did enjoy stopping at the village and purchasing some trinkets from locals. Recommend you take a motion sickness pill before departing

Good trip would recommend. - A very good day trip, lots to do . A nice lunch included too, 3 stops with a chance to snorkel for about 40 minutes each time, Snacks also laid on in the morning and you can use their snorkelling gear if you don have your own. Surin islands are beautiful and not crowded either.

Good experience, but needs a new name - The day was nice, but you need to go in with the right expectations. We were picked up at the hotel at seven in the morning and got back a little after six in the evening. We spent a total of two hours actually snorkeling. We sat around for almost two and a half hours before we actually got on the boat. That may be different if you don't opt for the hotel pick up. Between the meals and the other activities they plan we were not in the water as much as we thought we would be. When we were snorkeling it was awesome. The guides were helpful and kind.

Good snorkelling, but very cramped in boat - The trip was well organised and the guide and crew very helpful, but there were 30-odd passengers on the boat, which was about half the size of the boat from Phuket to Phi Phi Islands. There were some lovely-shaped and colourful live corals, as well as fish, to see when snorkelling. It was interesting to learn about the Moken people and see a little of how they lived.

Seastar itinerary is all wrong. 11 hour day, only 1 hour of snorkeling - I only went on this tour to experience snorkeling in the Surin Islands. But it was an 11 hour day from pickup to drop-off, with only 1 hour of snorkeling. We were meant to stop at three snorkeling sites but only stopped at two, due to inclement weather (despite it being calm from midday onwards). Two hours was spent travelling to and from the pier. One hour at the Muong village (about half an hour too long), one hour and twenty minutes at a pretty island having lunch (about 40 minutes too long), one hour standing around waiting to depart from the pier (with unappealing breakfast options) and 50 minutes standing around waiting to be taken home (with an excellent dinner available, but I didn't join the tour for a dining experience). Two x half-hour stops to snorkel and the rest of the time was on the boat. The first snorkeling spot was very ordinary but the 2nd was excellent. The 3rd didn't happen. 🥺 They could easily have cut time out of the food stops or Muong village tour or post trip buffet so that we could have more time doing what we all came for - the snorkeling. The trip out on the boat was very bouncy - more like a theme park roller coaster. They handed out seasick tablets before departure but half the boat still got sick. I saw at least 20 plastic bags of vomit collected by boat crew and deposited in "the spew bin", which was located at the rear two seats directly behind me. When everyone was revved-up by the boat conductor at the end of the trip (who was doing her best to create a joyous atmosphere) and asked "Did you have a good time?!", there was silence. So she tried again, in a louder voice ... still silence, through gritted teeth. Don't waste your money on this tour.

Tour company cancelled our reservation an hour before the tour. Said they were sold out they weren't sold out 12 hrs ea - AVOID. We booked a tour with this company. paid the fee in full. The day of the tour I received an email stating the tour was full and they were canceling our reservation. 12 hours earlier they had room enough for us and took out money. They suggested we reserve for the next day. Problem was that it was our last day in Phuket. We were too late to book with another company and so we were not able to see Surin Island because of these guys. I told them that if we had cancelled last min they would have kept our money why is it ok for them to cancel last min.
