- Bang Pa In Palace - Following hotel pick up from Bangkok city area hotel at 8 am by English speaking guide start your private Ayutthaya day tour.\nYour first stop will be Bang Pa In Palace. Bang Pa-In palace the summer palace of the Thai kings. It is located about 15 km south of the city of Ayutthaya and 50 km north of Bangkok at the Chao Phraya River. It was named after the island on which it was erected and which lies at a current loop of the river. Originally the palace was built around 1600 by King Prast Thong, who was also born here. All subsequent kings used this palace until the fall of Ayutthaya in 1767, during which the palace was also destroyed.\nKing Mongkut, Rama IV, revived this place. He and his son, the successor King Chulalongkorn (Phra Bat Somdet, Rama V) had built a new palace with many European elements. Before Mongkut became king, he enjoyed an education as a monk, which led him on extended journeys not only through Thailand but above all also to Europe. His son opened Thailand to the West.

Excellent Private Tour of Ayutthaya - It was very interesting to see the sites of the old capital of Siam. My tour guide from Mam Holidays was Miss Siriwaritsara Petcharapan. Siri went well above and beyond
the scope of a tour guide. She was a wealth of information about Ayutthaya. I would recommend the tour and Siri to everybody.

Wonderful experience - Excellent experience. Our guide, Miss Supatsara Wonghong, was very good. Knowing history, but also good places to eat, shops, advices. Very kind and warm, it was a tour where we saw important parts of history and traditions. If you like a complete trip, with the right guide, this is the one.

Excellent Private Ayutthaya Temple Tour! - We have decided in last minute(on Saturday evening for Sunday) to take a private tour to Ayutthaya and were not sure it can be managed in a such short time. But in the morning well advance before agreed time our guide Miss Supatsara was already waiting for us. She was very attentive to our preferences for trip schedule and a focus of the tour. We enjoyed very much in depth information about history, current situation, daily life in Thailand she has shared with us. She was extremely kind and helpful in any aspect. It was a great day for us and closing of our travel through south east Asia. Highly recommendable!

Fun and educational tour - This tour with our guide Rose was excellent! We had a fun-filled day learning about the history of temples and and ancient ruins of Ayutthaya. Rose is filled with knowledge and she enjoyed sharing it as we visited each location. She also took many photos of us. A private driver in an air-conditioned car would pick us up and drop us off at the entrance of each location. Also included with the tour was a delicious Thai lunch at an air-conditioned riverside restaurant which was a nice reprieve from the heat. Yes, it’s very hot there! We enjoyed our day so much with our guide Rose that we immediately booked her for another private tour for a different day! Thank you Rose for an amazing day and we look forward to our next tour with you!

Ótima experiência! - Despite the hot day the ride was very enjoyable! Our guide Miss Supatsara Wonghong was very kind, helpful and communicative, shared various local information and took us to lunch at a tasty buffet with various options. The car was air conditioned and very comfortable. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit various Buddhist temples and the beautiful king's palace in Ayutthaya where we feed some fishes and a cute turtle.

Great trip and awesome guide! - Thank you for taking us around Ayutthaya. Gimmao, our tour guide, was very funny and informative. We learned a lot about the history behind the attractions. She also takes really good photos! Would 100% recommend anyone in Bangkok to book this trip. :)

People come to Bangkok must do this trip to Ayutthaya , so many temple to see , a bit sad for everything is passing during the war in this old capitale of Thailand . We have or so a wonderful meal in a typical Thaï restaurant . Thanks Gimao and good luck for the future and thanks to the good taxi driver

Back to History - Excellent service - Pick up was spot on time. Comfortable vehicle and Pleasant Driver Guide ( Miss. Siri) was passionate about the Job. Good knowledge of History and the temples. Compared to other Thai guides here English was much better, could grasp better.
Ayutthaya is a must-visit for people who are passionate about History.
Yes kids will not enjoy much and must-visit only if the weather is fine, if it is hot you must carry lots of water/hats/ glasses/ sun cream etc
