- Erawan National Park - Erawan National Park is one of Thailand’s many stunning national parks, covering nearly 550 sq. km of mountains and valleys. The main highlight is the Erawan waterfalls, a seven-tiered cascade considered the most beautiful in Asia.
Set in a rugged jungle, this unique multi-level waterfall is surrounded by lush trees and curious monkeys. The first level is easily accessible, but the trail becomes steeper as you ascend. The natural beauty, including an intriguing wooden bridge over the cascading water, relaxing pools, and shady trees, makes the hike exciting and enjoyable. Don’t miss the world’s best fish spa, provided by tiny fish in the pools.
- Erawan Falls - Erawan Waterfall, another famous waterfall in Kanchanaburi, is located on the banks of the Kwae Yai River, spanning 1,500 meters. Originally named “Sadong Mongolia Waterfall” after Huay Monglai, its upstream source, the Erawan Waterfall features seven levels.
Each level has basins for visitors to enjoy the water, and there’s also a 1,060-meter Erawan nature trail. It takes about 30 minutes to walk through the evergreen forest, offering viewpoints and a beautiful deciduous forest. You’ll gain knowledge and appreciate the natural beauty.
- River Kwai - For a more local experience, try bamboo rafting. Our rafts, made by the Mon people using local materials, offer a traditional way to navigate the river. A designated person will steer the raft, allowing you to relax and enjoy the stunning nature.
-
Burma-Thai Railway - Known for its tragic history and immortalized in film, the construction of the “Death Railway” connecting Thailand with modern-day Myanmar was a grueling project that claimed thousands of lives. Parts of the railway were removed and sold after the war. Built to transport men and supplies to the Burmese front, this dark chapter in history is marked by its bloody railway.
At around 06:00 pm, you’ll return to your hotel in Bangkok, concluding the visit.
