Great 2 day trip. - Great hotel with wonderful breakfast. Very interesting tour of floating village. Temples were great to see. Guide (Bun) was great - great sense of humour and very knowledgeable. Drive was a long way from Bangkok but well worth it.

Excellent Angkor Wat side trip from Bangkok - Angkor Wat is an amazing site. We're so glad we found this 2-day side trip from Bangkok. The driver picked us up promptly at our Bangkok hotel and drove us the 3.5-4 hrs to the Poi Pet crossing. He dropped us off at a parking lot/transit sort of area and told us to wait. 10 min. later, someone came up to us and showed us a pic of who will meet us on the other side and walked us over to Immigration. There we waited in line to get our eVisa and go thru immigration. You can either get your eVisa online before coming here or get it there. For $10 you can expedite. Another person met us at the other side of Cambodia and took us to the driver who drove us another 2.5-3 hrs to our hotel which is a surprisingly nice 4 stars hotel. After checking in and resting for a short while, our guide returned to take us to Tonle Sap lake. It is not a very picturesque lake but it is a huge lake where people live in houseboats or house on stilts. Our guide also took us to a nice shopping/street food area in Siem Reap. The next day, we checked out and went to Angkor Wat and several other temples, one of which was featured in Tomb Raider. Our guide also took us to a restaurant where we had lunch before making the reverse drive back to the border and Bangkok. This is a very good way of taking a side trip to the famed Angkor Wat is you don't want to see anything else in Cambodia.

Amazing - The tour was exceptional due to my guide Bunrong and his wealth of knowledge, English speaking skills and kindness. As a solo middle age traveler everything went smoothly including the border crossing.

Phenomenal - Tour of the Angkor Wat temple. Our guide was excellent. The trip was long but the transfer between Thailand and Cambodia went smoothly. The hotel was very nice. And the choice of sights was great. We learned sooooo much.

Great and memorable trip- thanks to viator. - It was a well coordinated team work by all involved starting from pick up in Pattaya and drop off in Bangkok, all on time. Plus comfort, well behaved and pleasant staff, nice accommodation, well timed tour. Special mention of driver Vithea, Tour guide Mayushi, driver Sanwar, border coordinator Aun. All deserving praise. All in all great experience.

Overal a nice trip but the passing border procedure must be improved... - The excursion in Cambodia side, departing in the afternoon and next morning from our Siem Reap hotel, was very enjoyable thanks to our guide Bunrong. He was professional, kind, knew the history of the place and spoke English very well, he was very patient, letting me take lots of photos. He also took some very nice photos of my family. The downside for this tour was the border crossing between Thailand and Cambodia, where we found it unprofessional to have to change 2 or 3 border agents before arriving in the Cambodian minibus (you must change the Thai minibus), the area being unsafe, no ATTP tour guide until the hotel in Siem Rep, just the driver, a very nice guy who didn't speak English... On the way back, no one was waiting for us at the Thai border, so we had to find our border agent about 300 meters after the border - a slightly frightening adventure...

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - The GOOD: What an experience. We chose this excursion because our time in S.E. Asia was limited as we did 2 other countries. The actual trip was drop dead great. Our guide (Bunrong) was the greatest. Knowledgeable, attentive, personable. Allowed us the flexibility to do what we wanted or not. He has a passion for what he does and it shows. The fishing village near dusk was such a unique thing. Truly showed how many parts of the world still live. Incredible. And Ankor Wat (with the accompanying temples) is just stunning. It is a true wonder of the world and you will not regret seeing it, if for nothing else but to say you did. The hotel (Prince D' Ankor) was extremely nice, and much more than we expected. It was everything we hoped for. The BAD: 7+ hours there and 7+ hours back. Long trip in a very short time frame. But you know this going in. The UGLY: Heads-up... If you are the type of traveler that gets uneasy or nervous when traveling in a foreign country (can't speak the language) and are given little or no direction/help, might want to think this one through. Once you get through the border crossing, everything comes together... Getting to that point is horrible. Picked up at hotel by driver that speaks no English (the only reason we got in his van was because the hotel said he was for our excursion). This driver will drive you for 4+ hours to the border. No information. No acknowledgement. No confirmation that you even belong there. Showed him the paperwork and just stared blankly at us. Sooo... We rolled with it. Once got to the border, he dropped us off in a parking lot full of different excursion tourists, and half heartedly waived his hand at the mass of people, and... Left. We meandered around looking for anything resembling our tour. After 10 minutes some woman dressed like a local approached us and told us in broken English to come with her. How she knew it was us? No idea. We were handed off to some young guy who would take us to the border crossing. He is going to give you minimal instruction on what to do/expect to cross the border. You now walk a couple hundred meters through some seedy alleyways to get to the Border Control. Now, we bought our Cambodian Visas on-line directly from the Cambodian Government. $30 (MAKE SURE YOU PRINT AND BRING 2 COPIES. I'm not even going to scare you with that part of the story). Once you cross the border, you are good to go. But coming back to Thailand, the same guy meets you. he walks you to the Border Control. Tells you to go through Control/Thai Customs and leaves you with "Go out the door and go straight for a couple hundred meters and our guy will find you... Okayyyyy... A little nerve wracking. It all worked in the end. The ACTUAL excursion is a must and was 5 stars, the travel part was 2-3 stars. Can only give it a 4 overall.

Enriching and breathtaking tour, with uncertainty in the handoffs from Bangkok to Siem Reap & back. - Tour guide was sensational and the sites exceeded all expectations! Siem Reap is welcoming of tourists, and is transitioning responsibly to be a treasured UNESCO heritage site. Sunrise over Angkor Wat was breathtaking. Main area of improvement would be to improve communication about what is expected in the hand-offs from our hotel in Bangkok, across the border, and into the hands of the English-speaking tour guide. We felt anxiously abandoned at critical junctures, though gratefully it all worked out.

Great sights, great tour guide in Siem Reap, poor transfer process. - Mr T did a great job as a tour director! He was well informed, courteous and spoke English fairly well. The sights at Angkor Wat were fantastic. He answered our many questions with patience. The hotel was great. Transferring at the boarder was not great. None of the people spoke English, we were not told that we would have to carry our luggage through both Thailand and Cambodian customs. Elevators didn’t work, it was a little scary.

Amazing- beware of some drivers- can happen - Five stars all the way from the beginning was great! Sorry missed Thai drivers name to Cambodian border he was on time, efficient and very friendly! Our tour Guide- Pal Saruon and Cambodian Driver Phanna five stars both! Only bémol was Thai driver back from the border to BKK- not friendly, constantly on the phone- and not cooperating at all! We did three times around our hotel- and when I asked why we going away from our hotel- he showed me a picture of the other hotel to drive us to! I said that it is definitely not a hotel I was living in- it’s been already an hour in BKK on the road! Finally he called the dispatcher to ask about the address- and was given directions to right one. He twice missed the turn- and was driving around for an half an hour to get there. The last one was when he again missed the GPS turn when I said to stop and let me out. Was walking back to my hotel for 15 minutes. It was tiring. Would be five stars if not driver experience! Have to reduce to three unfortunately
