Awed by Bangkok’s intricate temples and the Grand Palace - This half-day tour was very informative and culturally enriching. Our guide, Oddi, was like a teacher and very professional! Rating: 10/10.

A well-planned fully-guided tour for small group - Our tour began with a pickup directly at our hotel door, unlike some other tours that may require you to travel to a pickup point somewhere else in traffic-mad Bangkok. We were greeted at our hotel by our tour guide, Eddy. Another person drove the mini-van while Eddy conducted the entire tour in perfect English. He is friendly & courteous. He is very passionate about Thai history with the amount of detail and information he pointed out to us about the history of Thailand, the old Bangkok city; the history of the Thai monarchy; the architectural designs & purposes of various buildings inside and adjacent to the Grand Palace, including some of the many ornaments and statutes that dot all around the Palace; and the history of the Emerald Buddha Temple. At the end of the tour, we were given a bttle of cold water. This was a very well planned fully guided tour. Judging from the size of the mini-van, I think the number of people is limited to about 8 participants per van. We booked the tour on the day before for 4 people.

Great first tour in Thailand - Our private tour of the Grand Palace in Bangkok went really well. We not only learned about the Palace but also the history of Thailand, the Buddhist religion, and modern life in Thailand. This was a great tour to start off our trip and we recommend it to anyone visiting Thailand.

A must in Bangkok with a great guide included - I highly suggest that you apply a sunscreen before the tour starts or have an umbrella or a hand fan. The place is very busy in the morning but our guide was able to move us away from the crowd when she explained everything about the palace first. After that, we were given some free time to go around the place and take pictures. Nok, our tour guide, gave us the option if we want to stay longer in the Emerald Buddha and just go on our own in the Grand Palace (you might need a bit more time in the Emerald Buddha to see all the structures). This is the tour where you need a guide to explain the area and structures and we really enjoyed this

Amazing morning with excellent guide - Picked up on time and there were only 6 of us in the group which made this more personal. The guide gave us incredible information about the palace and also the different types of buildings. We also saw the emerald Buddha inside the complex which was impressive.

Interesting Sights But Too Crowded - Santa is a good tour guide. She had lots of information to share. The ride was comfortable to and fro. The Grand Palace was chock full of tourist groups, so not a great experience. Even though I apparently failed the dress code (tight long pants), but there were females in crop tops, spaghetti strap tops, above knee dresses walking around. Maybe if we could have gone even earlier, the crowd would have been less. We were picked at 830am, and the opening is 830.

Disappointing Tour - The tour was disappointing because of the guide. He appeared disinterested and rushed through the tour and did not provide us with much information. He was very vague a out dates. The tour was about one hour shorter than advertised.
