Originally named “Wat Bang Wa Yai,” it was later elevated to a royal monastery by King Taksin. The temple gained its current name, “Wat Rakhang” (Temple of the Bell), after an ancient bell was discovered within its grounds during the reign of King Rama I. Apart from its beauty, the temple is renowned for its Ubosot (ordination hall), which showcases architecture from the era of King Rama I. The Ubosot features Narayana on Garuda images on its gable and houses numerous important wall murals.

Phra Pin-klao Bridge - Your dinner cruise will pass by Phra Pinklao Bridge. The Phra Pin Klao Bridge is a continuous prestressed concrete bridge built to alleviate traffic congestion. It was constructed with cooperation from the Japanese government, which assisted in the bridge’s design and survey, as well as provided financial aid to the Thai government through a loan combined with the Thai government’s budget.
