History, Culture & Just a Great Day Out! - If you're looking for a Tour from Bangkok with a combination of History, Sites/Places & Experiences all in one - this would be it... We were Picked up, as scheduled from our Hotel in Bangkok, and transported in an airconditioned Van, visiting the Jeath Museum, Kanchanaburi War Cemetery and the Bridge over the River Kwai. It was then a Train Ride to the Death Railway at Kanchanaburi, where we were then met by our Van and taken to the Praweenut Restaurant for a tasty buffet lunch... Following lunch, the Highlight of the Tour for us, was visiting the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre, Walkway & Memorial - so very moving... On our way back, we dropped into the Saiyak Noi Waterfall for a couple of photo's - beautiful... We were accompanied by a very friendly & knowledgable Tour Guide "Mr.A" - couldn't of asked for better Guide (Thanks so much Mr.A)... It is worth noting this is a FULL Day Tour - 7am Pick-up with an approx. 6pm Drop-off at our Hotel (Traffic is BUSY in Bangkok late afternoon/evening)... This Tour exceeded our expectations & we would Highly Recommend it!!

Wonderful informative tour - Our driver and tour guide made the whole tour so enjoyable, informative and amazing. On time and willing to help us in any way they could. While the tour itself was amazing it was made even better by our tour guide and all of her help and information. Thank for a wonderful trip.

Hellfire - Hellfire pass was probably the most sobering place I've been to especially knowing my grandfather survived the experience and lived until 94 ,I have no idea how anyone survived the cruelty. But recommended to everyone its a beautiful place as well

Day 2 in Bangkok - A was our tour guide and B was our driver. What an amazing history to learn! Watched and read “Bridge over the River Kwai” as a child. This experience was even more powerful Than the movie or book. If you are a history buff, this is definitely a tour for you. Hellfire Pass is not the easiest walk and hike but worth the sweat to appreciate the hard work of those who built the pass and Thai-Burma Railway. The museum near the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery is a must see to encapsulate all the history around the Thailand-Burma Railway. It is not part of the tour but worth the 150 Bhat to see. Loved the tour!

Best tour so far in Thailand - We had a wonderful tour guide Petch (Patchara). As we drove through Bangkok she explained the devloping Bangkok, culture & about the royalties. Petch made sure we had the best seat on the train & telling us when good views for photos. She pointed out agriculture crops & fruit trees. The train trip was fabulous & the view on the Memorial walking trail. I noted Petch helped other tourist.

River Kwai Tour - We were picked up from our hotel by Miss Diamond, and her driver Mr Vilai a lovely guide and driver who gave us plenty of information on our 2 hour long trip to the Station to pick up our train to go over the River Kwai. She made sure we had good seats on the train by the window on what she said would be the side with the best view. She pointed out everything of interest like plants and landmarks on our hour and a half train journey. On reaching station everyone on the train had photos on the track and Miss Diamond made sure we got photos in the best location. Lunch was amazing too, which was included in the package. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day and would recommend to do this tour.

A worthwhile and moving experience - We did this with just the two of us on the tour (good luck). It was a great way to see some important historic sights and get a real feel for the events around the building of the Burma-Thailand railway. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us to really get the most of our time. The Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre was a very interesting way to find out about some of the experiences of PoWs during the railway construction.
