- Khlong Toei Market - At 7:00 hrs we pick you up from your hotel in the center of Bangkok and drive to Klongtoey district, long known for its slum, one of the largest in the Thai capital. However, the purpose of our visit is ‘Talat Klongtoey’ (Klongtoey Market), the largest fresh market in Bangkok. The market is open almost 24 hours a day and it is one of the most authentic markets in the city.
The market attracts all kinds of shoppers, from street vendors to chefs of some of the best restaurants in Bangkok. Talat Klongtoey consists of a network of stalls selling everything from fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables, meat and insects to live frogs, ducks, and chickens. When you stroll around this market all your senses will come to life and your camera will work overtime!

- Pak Khlong Talat - After our visit to the Klongtoey Market we continue by metro to the old flower market Pak Khlong Talat. Pak Khlong Talat is a colorful and vibrant wholesale market that is open 24 hours a day. When you walk around here, you constantly have to step aside for mopeds, men with baskets and hand carts full of flowers. Many of these flowers go to temples and vendors are busy making small sacrificial flower wreaths. It is never quiet here and the market is always on the move.

Wang Lang Market - Enjoy a cool river breeze while traveling on the Chao Phraya River, also known as the ‘River of Kings’, until we reach the last market of our trip: Wang Lang Market, one of the most bustling and lively markets in Bangkok. You will see the market as soon as you disembark from the boat.
Wang Lang Market stretches along the Chao Phraya River on the Thonburi side, adjacent Siriraj Hospital. It’s one of the city’s busiest markets for people of all ages and known for its cheap street food. The market is especially popular among hungry locals who come to do their daily food shopping. Of course we will try some Thai snacks here!

- Wat Rakang Kositaram - We make a last short stop at Wat Rakhang. This temple was formerly known as Wat Bangwa Yai and built during the Ayutthaya period. During the reign of King Rama 1, a gigantic bell was discovered at the temple (hence the name Wat Rakhang or the “Temple of the Bell”). The king had the bell moved to the Grand Palace and five other bells were reconstructed to replace the ancient artifacts.
From Wat Rakhang we take the ferry back to the other side of the river where the tour ends.
You can further explore the old city on your own or take a taxi (not included) back to your hotel.
