The architectural plan of this palace was almost identical in every detail to the royal palace of the former capital of Ayutthaya (about 600 years ago) because the King wanted to recreate the glory of the city as it was in the past. So it was completely first built in traditional Thai style.
However, at various periods, the influences from other nations affected the architecture in Thailand in different reigns such as the Chinese elements introduced by King Rama 3 in the early 19th century and the western building style introduced by King Rama 5 in the late 19th century.
So you will see a great mixture of European, Chinese and Thai architectural style. In addition, the Emerald Buddha image is the most important Buddha image in Thailand.

Fabulous Private Tour - My husband and I had an amazing day with our guide Ms Tip. Such a lovely person with so much knowledge - including showing us some hidden gems which are often overlooked by tourists who aren’t in the know.
We were able to tailor our experience to suit us and it was fabulous!

Best Bangkok guide - We spent an excellent day with Nok touring the Railway market, Floating market and Grand Palace. She is knowledgeable and entertaining, able to relate stories, not just tell facts. We had fun posing for pictures in all the right places. The lunch stop that she chose was excellent. I would definitely book another tour with Nok

Noc Noc, simply the best! Thank you. - We were blessed to spend 2 days visiting Bangkok and Pattaya with NocNoc. She was very knowledgeable and looked after us so well. We visited the Grand Palace, temples, floating markets, caught the ferry and the long tail boats to see houses and restaurants in stilts as well as indulging in delicious lunches. The tuk tuk ride was great fun too! Noc even surprised us with little gifts along the way!

Fabulous 2 days in Bangkok - We had the best 2 days of our
Southeast Asia cruise with the
Lovely Ms. Nok as our tour guide 🙏 She was so sweet & kind , spoke perfect English, and filled us in on so many details of what we were seeing & doing for our time with her .. We loved the temples in Bangkok & the Pattaya tour with sanctuary of truth was spectacular .. Great fun , great tours & the best guide for sure 🙏

The BEST tour guide! - Nok Nok is a very friendly and informative guide. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she went out of her way to ensure we did everything we wanted to do - and she always seemed to get us there before the crowds! Will definitely be recommending her services to everyone! And when I return to Thailand (hopefully soon) I will contact her again. Thank you so much Nok Nok

Our amazing Thai tour guide - We had a wonderful day tour with SOM. SOM picked us up at our hotel on time. She is young and plenty of energy. Som is very experienced in her field. We are so happy to be with her the whole day. She made sure in her 8hours with us, she taught us how to use public transport like: MRT,BTS, Tuktuk, Taxi, etc..She is very kind, polite and took good care of us. She is very protective of her customers. She took some nice photos for us. We had so much of the good laughs that I thought she is part of my family. We missed her when we said goodbye. We have traveled nearly around the globes. We hired tour guides. SOM is our top, our best, ONE and ONLY that we are fortunately to receive her excellent service. We love her and we hope to one day to meet her again when we are back in Thailand. She is very busy tour guide, please reserve her far in advance. One great thing that Som knows so much about the history of Thailand, she explained well when we visited all the "WATS = Temples". Our love to SOM, our appreciation to SOM. Wishing her well. Highly recommend - We had the most wonderful day with Noc. I was recommended to her by a friend a few months ago and together Noc and I put together a tailor made day which began with Noc and a driver collecting us from our hotel in a lovely air conditioned car with cold water provided to us. From there we drove an hour to the railway market in time for the first train of the day to pull through. We then went on to the floating market and took a motor long boat through the market. Noc helped and advised us throughout both markets with our haggling! We then had time to go feed some nearby elephants which was such an added bonus. We then drove back into Bangkok and went to the reclining Buddha temple which was amazing. Our last stop of the day was the King Power building where Noc had reserved tickets for us to ride up to the 78th floor and walk on the glass skywalk. We sat and had a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset. It really was a gorgeous day and superbly organised. We felt very looked after and Noc was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. Could recommend this tour company more.

Kanchanaburi tour - Paula organize a tour in the Kanchanaburi region where we did many activities:
-> Wat Tham Suea
-> Hellfire Pass
-> Erawan Waterfall
-> Krasae Cave
-> River Khwae Bridge
-> Skywalk Muang
Paula also organized transfers for me ! I thank her, for her professionalism and kindness. She is a really good guide 🥰🙏. She she introduced us to very authentic and delicious restaurants too 😋.
And I would like to thank her driver Peter for his driving, his kindness and his smile.

Outstanding Tour of Bangkok with Nina! - This was my first time in Bangkok and I wanted to see the highlights, including the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun. Over eight hours, we did that and so much more. Nina was very knowledgeable about all the places that we visited. She was well organized and also flexible with plans and suggestions. For lunch, she selected a local, Michelin starred restaurant. It was exactly the tour and introduction to the city that I wanted. I learned a lot and had a great time. My experience with Nina was stellar and I highly recommend this activity!

Guide Paula is outstanding!! 🤩 - We had a fantastic time at Erawan Falls and the Bridge over the River Kwai. Our guide Paula is AMAZING!! She became our friend and not just our guide. We had such a great time with her. She shared her knowledge as well as made us laugh and smile all day. She took so many photos of us it was like having a personal photographer too! 📸 Paula goes above and beyond I’d give her 10 stars ✨
