Great experience - Great experience, we stayed around Pattaya. We did not want the 2.5 hrs ride to Bangkok. We got to experience everything you ever wanted to experience. Kiki lets you do your own thing with recommendations. It’s a must to book with Mr Siriton if he’s available. Very knowledgeable about the city. He will let you know the best places for food and a massage (must do).

Wonderful experience - We spent a wonderful day in Bangkok with our private tour guide Kanny who welcomed each of us with a beautiful bouquet of orchid flowers and delicious pastry to try. We visited many attractions including the Grand Palace and enjoyed our lunch of Thai cuisine.

Great Day in Bangkok - My wife and I were the party. We were messaged in advance with clear instructions/advice. The driver contacted us on the morning by WhatsApp with details and photo. He was easily located a few yards from the ship’s gangway. We made our way to Bangkok to meet our guide Nae. Because cruise lines chose to dock where is convenient for them, rather than passengers, it was a two-hour drive to Bangkok. We had a fascinating day visiting the Grand Palace and took a Longtail boat ride on the Chao Phraya River. This additional cost was more than we might have expected at 2,500 Thai Baht (about £58 sterling). But we were the only passengers and there may have been a misunderstanding of this but alternatives such as sharing with other tourists were available but not offered. Our guide was friendly, informative and very enthusiastic to show the sights and interests. The Grand Palace is very busy and it is a definite advantage to have a personal guide, group guides would have been very difficult to hear. Our driver was polite efficient, offering comfort breaks during the journey from port to city and back. We felt safe and looked after at all times.

Amazing! Certainly saw a lot of the Bangkok culture. - Everything was seamless…from driver pickup at the Port and return. Nae was our guide and he contacted us just as we left the Port to see what we would like to do for the day and greeted our group of 4 with flowers! He took us through the flower markets (beautiful) and then we had an hours ride on the long boat on the river and through the locks. So interesting. I had broken a tooth a few days earlier and Nae arranged a dental appointment for me and made sure I got there on time. Highly recommend his services.

Bangkok highlights - If travelling from cruise terminal time to Bangkok advertised as 1.5hrs it will take at least 2hrs to drop off point due to sheer volume of traffic in and around the city. Driver was on time nice clean modern vehicle. The guide had fairly good english, the tour was a little hurried as the guide was obviuosly sticking to a tight schedule. We had to request him to slow down so we could take photos and absorb the sights. Highlights, Royal Palace, boat trip (optional extra), tuk tuk ride, and meal in local cafe. If on a cruise and ship staying overnight a good tip is to book a hotel room overnight.

A customized experience - Having a private tour made seeing the things we wanted to see in one day possible. We were able to see all the best things in a timely manner. Our guide, Tom, was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from him. Bangkok traffic was very heavy and we spent a bit of time waiting for the car and the boat which was unfortunate since we were hurrying through the sights and then waiting around for transportation to the next sight. We are very happy we booked this tour. It was so much better than being on a bus with a lot of other people. Having a private tour allowed us to see see the things we wanted and to go at the pace and schedule that worked for us. We were also able to ask all the questions we wanted and came away with a lot of information. Would highly recommend this tour.

Great experience but too short - The tour guide (Palm)and driver (Beer) were great and everything we visited was beautiful and amazing. My problem with the tour is that it is only 8 hours and over 4 hours of that is travel time and sitting in traffic, this is not mentioned at all in the description. On the day of the tour they tell you about the time it will take and then start talking about $30 an hour if you go over. This should be a 12 hour tour, like a similar one I took in Hanoi.

Bangkok whirlwind tour - Our port was two hours away from Bangkok and the traffic was terrible. Our host was cordial however his English was very poor. Had some confusion on itinerary resulting in missing one event due to time. Overall good day
