An amazing day - Piyaporn was extremely knowledgeable regarding our tour of the various sites in Ayutthaya. She was very hospitable and took us to an amazing restaurant for lunch.

Kind and courteous - It starts with being prompt - a real plus. She was kind and courteous. We were particularly pleased with her attention to lunch, having a member of the party with a shellfish allergy. She paced the visit to our ability - slow with a “feels like” temp of 109! Highly recommend her for this tour.

Brilliant day out - Piyaporn met us at our hotel promptly and we spent our day travelling in a very comfortable air conditioned people carrier. Equipped with a big icebox full of cold water and as we got back to the car our lovely driver offered us cold towels which were very refreshing. We had discussed our day with Piyaporn prior to our visit...we have certain restrictions to our mobility and she planned a perfect day for us which covered all the highlights we wanted to see without the day being too challenging. We lunched with her in a locals restaurant and tried her recommendations which were delicious. A fantastic day and we will definitely recommend her as her local knowledge is excellent.

A great tour, knowledgeable and adaptable guide - Polly was very knowledgeable about the sites and a lovely guide. It was tremendously hot and she was steadfast in preparing herself to do the full Ayutthaya tour for us until we let her know we were exhausted with the heat (37, felt like 46 degrees in a heat wave) and really needed to limit it; she adjusted well according to our needs. She took about 100 photos for us along the way so that we could enjoy the sites without having to take our own.

Completely amazing!!! - As a group of three, we wanted to have an immersive experience while we were visiting Thailand and Bangkok. We checked many websites and services that had tours and we settled upon withlocals. We were able to select our guide for the tours we wanted and we were blessed to be able to find Araya. She was so amazing. We booked her for a tour each day we were available for a total of five tours. Everything from the ancient city to grand palace to hidden gems and markets. We did everything we could. She was such a wealth of information about everything. She made our time with her fly by and it never was dull moment. Through our discussions, she was so helpful in making our experience memorable she would make suggestions that help us avoid the more “touristy” offerings for better experiences and was able to, on one occasion, help arrange a private audience with a temple monk for a teaching and blessing. We cannot say enough great and amazing words about Araya. If we ever get back to Bangkok, we will definitely be reconnecting and building new memories with her.

Great tour and a great guide. - Piyaporn is a fantastic guide. Super friendly and knowledgable. Excellent tour and a real pleasure to chat with Piyaporn about many aspects of life in Thailand. The restaurant she took us to was very good. The driver was lovely too!

Day trip to Ayutthaya with wonderful guide Piyaporn - We had a wonderful trip to the ancient city of Ayutthaya with Piyaporn. We learned a lot of Thai history, saw beautiful old temples and tasted great Thai delicacies. Piyaporn’s broad knowledge of history, mixed with a lot of kindness and thoughtfulness makes this a trip we can highly recommend to everybody!

Polly is the best tour guide! - Look no further, because Polly is the guide you need for your next tour in Thailand! Besides being an absolute sweet heart - She is a wealth of knowledge, answering all of our questions in depth, taking us to the right spots at each place, and making excellent recommendations on what to eat. Polly made our trip so enjoyable, she took the time to know us, and tailored our trip to what we wanted to see. For example, she ended up planning for us to see Buddhist monks at their time of prayer at the end of our tour one day. It was such a unique spiritual experience! She is one of those people you meet in life that leave a mark!

Engaging and brilliant private day trip to Ayutthaya with Big, Thai/US guide who was GREAT - Having done a fair bit of online research, I came across Big and, reading the raving reviews, opted for a day tour of Ayutthaya and a floating market tour with him. It’s always a bit of a gamble but this time we felt as we’d won the lottery. Big was excellent. Having grown up and worked in the US whilst also being Thai and living more latterly in Bangkok, he was able to provide valuable context to history and cultural aspects we simply wouldn’t have had otherwise, and of course having grown up there, his English was Big is a really fun guy with a great sense of humour and it felt like hanging out with a mate. Big didn’t’ only tell us about the sights and history but introduced us to local food and customs (including a local sweet delicacy) and took us for lunch at a restaurant which seemed very authentic (no other tourists, except us) which was great, yummy food too. Big strikes me as a bit of a polymath and he seems to know something about most things, including European and British history which he linked back, which was interesting. The kids (aged 13 and 16) loved the tour and were engaged throughout. I will be recommending Big to anyone going to Bangkok; couldn’t recommend him more highly.
