Sunrise tour - The sunrise was absolutely beautiful and very fun riding in the jeeps with a cute picnic on jeep rooftop as you wait for the sunrise. Agus Kurnia was our driver he was amazing!!! We got him to take us on a day tour the next day, we had so much fun 10/10 recommend Agus. :)

Beautiful Sunrise - The sunrise was beautiful, absolutely with it. Also our guide was extremely helpful, our two wheeler got stuck while coming and he arranged a pick up and drop for us all by himself at a bare minimum price. Would definitely recommend.

Interesting Journey - Interesting journey for folks who have not experience the view of sunrise from a volcano (alive). The driver who took us from our hotel to the meeting point, a 2 hours journey and then 2 off roaders waiting for us to take us up to Mt Batur in 30 min. We did not realise it was that cold.....16 celcius. Had a fall and driver help with cleaning the wound after dipping into hot spring. Overall it was a very good experience and thank you to the team....and a friendly dog which was too happy to play.

Amazing driver, experiences and scenery - The overall experience was 10/10.. better than expected and we were lucky enough to have a perfect weather for the sunrise. It was a pleasent ride with 4-wheeler and the driver volunterily took amazing pictures for us. Although I would highlight our driver Agus Kurnia as a star for our trip due to his nice english & communication skills. We learned so much about Bali culture, amazing places to visit & some overall Bali traveling tips from him. Definitely recommend this activity, especially with Agus, you will see, experience and learn a lot from this.

Fully-packed experience for good price - The whole day was quite an experience and we did so much!! The driver picked us up at 3.30am from our hotel in Ubud and then drove us to the north where we met our jeep driver. Then you drive further north around lake Batur to an area, in the dark, where you will watch the sunrise. There were hundreds of jeeps, so this is not a “intimate” experience. The driver is very nice and takes photos and videos for you, as much as you want. Unfortunately for us, the sunrise was not so great as it was so cloudy, but still picturesque. The breakfast they serve you at the top while you wait for the sunrise (around 5-5.30am) was NOT good- white bread with some kind of mashed bananas. We didn’t eat it. I would highly recommend bringing your own breakfast or ask your hotel if they can pack you a breakfast box otherwise you don’t have any opportunity to get food until about 12:00. After the sunrise we drove in the jeep to see black lava rocks, which was okay, but feels kind of just for Instagram worthy photos. You don’t get much explanation about anything. The drive is very bumpy so would not recommend if you have a bad back. After that we were reunited with our original driver, who took us to the Batur Natural Springs. That was very very nice, very refreshing and beautiful views- but of course filled with hundreds of tourist who just did the sunrise experience. Finally, we were taken to a coffee plantation about 45min drive away (time for a nap!) to taste test a few different coffees and teas, which was very nice. The view from the tasting was beautiful. It does however feel a bit tourist trappy, as they only walk you through a nature bit for 2min where they show you cacao bean, coffee bean and maybe jackfruit and other fruit trees. There isn’t much explanation or seeing the process of coffee making. And of course afterwards their aim is to sell you the coffee and tea products. Nonetheless we were happy it was short as by that time we were exhausted from the very early start. Overall a good fully-packed experience for a good price, especially if you have limited time in Bali.
