All of our team are local with English speaking and experience in the hospitality industry. So expect an interesting information about landscape features, a great stories about the history of the region, all with a great sense of humour. You are in safe hands in this off-road adventure.
When you arrive at our basecamp, we will take you to hop in the 4WD jeep and head to the best location to watch the sunrise from Mount Batur, which is inaccessible by standard vehicles. At the top, you’ll have enough time to relax, capture some amazing photod and meet new friends as you wait for the sunrise and enjoy your breakfast.
Afterward, we will cruise along the famous lava flow known locally as Batur Black Lava on the south side of the volcano. On the way to get there, we will witness the local farmers working in their small fields and vegetable gardens.

Sunrise tour - The sunrise was absolutely beautiful and very fun riding in the jeeps with a cute picnic on jeep rooftop as you wait for the sunrise. Agus Kurnia was our driver he was amazing!!! We got him to take us on a day tour the next day, we had so much fun 10/10 recommend Agus. :)

The only people we saw who were cold were wearing shorts and tank tops. We brought our own snacks but there was food and hot dri - Did this excursion with my sister and we both loved it! Our driver was punctual with picking us up from our hotel, and provided coffee and tea before going up the mountain. The only people we saw who were cold were wearing shorts and tank tops. We brought our own snacks but there was food and hot drinks you could also buy while waiting for the sunrise. Our driver Mertha was awesome and he took A LOT of incredible photos of us both at the sunrise and at the lava field.

Beautiful Sunrise - The sunrise was beautiful, absolutely with it. Also our guide was extremely helpful, our two wheeler got stuck while coming and he arranged a pick up and drop for us all by himself at a bare minimum price. Would definitely recommend.

The sunset - Everything worked out as planed and our Jeep driver Anom made sure we had a great time. With the sunrise we had a good breakfast and he kindly took lots of photos of us. After that we drove to the Black Lava and the Hot springs. We had a really good time and recommend this tour!!

My trip - Many thanks to Agus and Made our drivers. They made this experience amazing. Agus looked after us brilliantly all day and Made drove us in his jeep up the mountain.It was amazing! Agus was great and friendly, very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Interesting Journey - Interesting journey for folks who have not experience the view of sunrise from a volcano (alive). The driver who took us from our hotel to the meeting point, a 2 hours journey and then 2 off roaders waiting for us to take us up to Mt Batur in 30 min. We did not realise it was that cold.....16 celcius. Had a fall and driver help with cleaning the wound after dipping into hot spring. Overall it was a very good experience and thank you to the team....and a friendly dog which was too happy to play.
