Fantastic sunrise! - An unforgettable memory thanks to Wayan! Climbing Mount Batur for sunrise was an incredible experience. Wayan, very professional and attentive, knew how to make the hike pleasant despite the effort. The sunrise from the summit is simply magical, a breathtaking panorama. Perfect organization from start to finish. I highly recommend!

Great Trip! - Fantastic Batur sunrise experience for 3 of my friends and I, We did the half jeep and half trek tour. Everything was organized well and we had a wonderful experience.

Highly Recommend - Glad we got car pickup facility from our hotel to the trekking point. Gede was on time to our hotel and waited for us with patience.
Very fortunate to have a good guide for just 2 of us. ketut has done more than 4000 trips but still maintained her enthusiasm. Tough trek but she was supportive and let us do it at our pace. We were blessed with an awesome sunrise.

Must See View - For my last day in Kuta, I signed up for the Sunrise Trekk at Mount Batur. My driver Kadek Arsa contacted me immediately after as well to confirm the pick up time and location. The whole experience was smooth and I had a great time with our guide Wayan. Huge thanks to my driver Jero Kadak for being so flexible and getting me home in time to catch my flight!

A Great Experience - We did the mount batur sunrise hike with Mount Batur Adventure and it was an awesome experience. He was very knowledge about the area and the mountain we learned so much from him. He even edited a video of us for the hike. I was a little slow up the mountain and it was not a problem at all. If you are thinking about booking the hike do it!

Great Morning Hike - Highly recommend this tour! We had a perfect morning and great experience trekking up Mount Batur to see the sunrise. We walked all round the mountain and saw monkeys. We then finished the morning going to the hotsprings, which was a lovely way to relax after the difficult hike.

Wonderful experience - We took this trip with our young teenage kids. It was great time for all. The driver Begonk picked us up at 1.40AM from our villa and took us all the way to the Mount Batur, where we made our hiking guide Made. She made our hike a great experience. She was very kind, understanding, carrying and helpful. She even offered to carry our backpack!!! Which of course we never allowed but she was just really looking after us. The hike was challenging at some moments but overall very doable. Made allowed us to make as many stops as we wanted. At the top we got served hot drinks and a breakfast. Made also took many amazing photographs and videos of us at the sunrise but also on the way, from her own initiative. The hot springs were great and as we arrived early it was not busy. Amazing views! The coffee plantation stop was a great gem at the end of the trip with an amazing coffee and tea tasting plate. Highly recommend this trip. And many thanks to Baegonk our driver and Made, who made this trip a great success!

How to be prepared for this trip - It was an interesting trip. Our tour guide never showed up at our hotel for the Sunrise Trek. Apparently they had overslept. Luckily, the company sent someone to take us up the mountain in a jeep. They drove very safely and slowly, partly because of how nervous I was, and of course, because it can be dangerous.
We got to the top and saw the beautiful sunrise. I recommend anyone that doesn't like mashed bananas on bread and a boiled egg for breakfast, to bring their own. Also, it was very cold, so make sure to have a jacket. The sun made it a little warmer, so the way down was a bit better. We went to a lava rock field, of sorts, and wandered around there for about an hour. Then the driver took us to the natural hot spring.
I think it should be noted that the restaurant there is cash only. Also, the changing and locker room is unisex, and everyone changes behind little curtains put around the room. There are many flies that enjoy the hot springs as well. As it is very sunny, people should also be aware of the risk of sunburn while bathing in the healing waters.
When we were ready to be picked up, this company again came through for us. They sent a driver, who arrived only a few minutes after we had decided we didn't want to swim anymore. The drive back was safe and relaxing.

Disappointed - Although we were looking forward to this trip. We requested to reschedule the day before as we had an emergency medical issue and the doctor advised us we could not travel. We contacted the company as soon as we left the doctor and we offered to send a medical certificate. Although they initially offered an alternative date, we then had no response and they have stopped responding. I can appreciate that our request may not have been possible but it was disappointing the company stopped responding entirely.
