- From 01:30 to 03:00 am: We will pick you up from your accommodation in Bali
- At 03:45 am: We reach the starting point and our experienced hiking guides will give an overview and safety…
Join us for a memorable journey to the summit of Mount Batur in Bali, where you can witness a magnificent sunrise from the peak of an active volcano.
Here is the plan:
- From 01:30 to 03:00 am: We will pick you up from your accommodation in Bali
- At 03:45 am: We reach the starting point and our experienced hiking guides will give an overview and safety briefing
- At 04.09 am: Our guide will lead you in a 90-minute trek to reach the summit just in time for the sunrise
- At 06:00 am: Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee served by our guide as you marvel at the breathtaking sunrise
- At 07:00 am: From the summit, you can choose to head straight to the car park OR take a tour with our guide around the rim to explore the second crater (erupted in 1926), the third crater (erupted in 1963), and the newest crater (erupted in 1974 and 1994)
- At 09:00 am: We will reach back at the base
- At 09:20 am: Indulge in a breakfast at a restaurant overlooking the lake and Mount Batur
- Between 11:00 am and 01:00 pm: Expected time of return to your hotel
- Children 4-years and under are free with accompanied of an adult

Hill walk up Mount Batur to watch sunrise - Excellent experience! Booked online & all went very smoothly- friendly driver Putu met us off our cruise ship and gave us lots of cultural information during our 1 & 1/2 hr drive to the start of our walk.
Met with Wyan who was a great guide up the mountain in torchlight to watch the the sunrise.
Lovely breakfast with a super view at a hilltop restaurant.
They both took lots of nice photos/video as a memento.
Afterwards we added a dip in the hot springs which was a treat.

Great experience! - Our driver Gede Arya and guide Wayan we're great! My son wasn't too happy about the early wakeup and the hike up the mountain but they both did everything to make us comfortable. My wife did the same tour with the same driver and guide and said I had to do the same because it was so good. Thankyou for a great experience!

5 Stars - The mount batur hike is a ‘must do’ when you’re in Bali - our driver Putu was perfectly on time and was friendly throughout the trip. We also enjoyed the company of our guide Katar. Would highly recommend this experience.

The best I’ve ever done! - I’ve never experienced anything like it. Words cannot describe the feeling of seeing the sunrise above the clouds after the hike up the volcano.
We also couldn’t have had a better guide than Wayan Budiawan and our driver, Putu Pande, who picked us up from the hotel.
If you’re in Bali, this is a must-do!

stunning view, with great guide - It was an amazing experience. everything was well organized and my guide was great. the hike was good and the view stunning. the breaks inbetween the hike where well scheduled and he took well care of me. at the top he showed my many great places away from the tourist mass. he took beautiful photos with my phone as well. overall a 100% recommandation

Unforgettable experience! - I had the most incredible experience on the sunrise trek of Mount Batur in Bali, and I can't recommend it enough! Our guide, Wayan Budiawan, made the trek truly unforgettable. Not only was he an expert guide, but he was also a great conversationalist, keeping us engaged with fascinating stories and local insights throughout the hike. Wayan also went above and beyond by taking excellent photos of us at the summit—memories I’ll cherish forever. Our driver, Putu Pande, was equally amazing. He arrived promptly for the pickup and was very communicative, making sure we were comfortable and well-informed about the schedule. The trek itself was challenging but incredibly rewarding, with breathtaking views of the sunrise. Everything about this tour was seamless and well-organized, thanks to Wayan and Putu. If you're looking for a memorable Bali adventure, this trek is a must-do!

Must do when in North Bali! - Mt. batur - My husband and friends did the sunrise trek to Mt.Batur and it was an exhilarating experience! We took around 6 hours to do the whole hike (which includes walking, break, tea at the top and taking pics ( A LOT OF PICS!!)) the walk is moderately difficult with a lot of incline, however it is possible to complete the whole hike wearing proper gear and a good fitness level :)
Finally, a special mention to our tour guide, Wayan Budiawan. He provided us with the best experience by explaining us about mount batur, and the nearby mountains and also kept banter going throughout the entire trip and made my day so memorable :) if you are to choose the sunrise trek, I would definitely recommend Wayan as your mountain guide for the very best experienced! Additionally, our driver Dek Agus made sure pick up/ drop off was completed as scheduled and was very helpful with any of our needs and queries!

Highly recommend - Early start to the morning but our guide Wayan made it fun. He was so knowledgable and took the most amazing photos for us! A little chilly at the top after the climb but it quickly warmed up

1000/10: cannot miss if in Bali - One of the most incredible experiences of my life. Beautiful views I can’t even put into words. Wayan was the man! He was so friendly and welcoming, holding my hand and talking me through some of the more difficult areas of the hike, and had a lot of knowledge about the mountain and the history of the past eruptions and their craters. He was also very patient with me and the breaks I needed on the way up, and an excellent photographer. The driver, Putu Pande, was sweet as well, happily answering all my dumb questions about what I saw out the window. Overall, coolest experience ever, can’t recommend this excursion and this team enough.
