Arch 22 - The Arch 22 is a monument located in on the Banjul-Serrekunda Highway. The monument was built to mark the military coup in 1994 through which former president Yahya Jammeh came to power.

The arch is 35 meters high and is designed by a senegalese architect called Pierre Goudiaby Atepa. Goudiaby Atepa hasdesigned a lot of interesting buildings such as the BCEAO bank headquarters in Dakar and the ECOWAS building in Lomé, Togo.
You also find the Arch depicted on the back of the 100 dalasi.
The lift to the Arch is not always working so you might have to climb some stairs.
- National Museum of the Gambia - The National museum of the Gambia presents historical and cultural artefacts from the colonial history of the Gambia.
The museum opened in 1985 and has an archeological section and also a historical section. The exhibitions are curated by mr Hassoum Ceesay who is a well known historian.

- Albert Market - Albert market is a street market named after Queen Victoria´s husband Prince Albert Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. The market is divided in to three sections – The wholesale/retail market, the food market and the tourist market. The market usually is open from 8am to 7pm. Dont forget to bargain!
