Mirador Mira Mera - The main attraction in El Nido is a large-scale replica of the nest of the Amazonian oropendola bird, constructed using vines native to the Amazon rainforest. It offers a moment of rest and relaxation while observing the majestic Pastaza River and capturing memorable photos. Additionally, ‘The Swing’ is available for those seeking a thrill; it provides the sensation of leaping into the void and allows for an intense appreciation of the surrounding landscape. Its height will surely amaze you.
Playa de los Monos - Situated at the confluence of the Misahuallí and Napo rivers in Ecuador, the charming town of Misahualli is a well-known tourist destination. This peaceful enclave, away from the usual paths, offers stunning jungle views and a vast sandy beach. Among the town’s beloved residents are its monkeys, often seen strolling along the beach or exploring the central park.
Laguna Paikawe Reserva - The journey continues as we board a paddle canoe, gliding gracefully across the lagoon. Along the way, there is an opportunity to observe various bird species, including the famous hoatzins, as well as spot caimans and the impressive Amazonian fish, the PAICHE. After the canoe excursion, a short walk on the island follows. Keep your camera ready, as the animals often blend seamlessly into the foliage. We will then return to Misahualli Port to continue the ride to the Jungle reserve.
Misahualli River - Registration is required for entry into the Rainforest. (Please have your passports ready for presentation). After a period of relaxation and settling in, one of the Naturalist Guides will provide essential information about the tropical rainforest, Amazon spa therapies, and the operations of THE RAINFOREST LODGE. The aim is to equip you with vital knowledge about this incredible environment as you prepare for your activities.

Sendero Ecológico El Gran Ceibo - Join the GIANT CEIBO ECOLOGICAL GUIDED JUNGLE WALK. This trail is named after the renowned thousand-year-old Ceibo tree, a majestic presence among the diverse flora encountered. From towering strangler figs to invaluable medicinal plants, the path is adorned with natural wonders. The knowledgeable guides will provide insights into the rich biodiversity, sharing fascinating details about the flora and fauna. Get ready to witness the daily activities of the animals inhabiting this vibrant ecosystem as the trail is traversed.
There is flexibility in choosing the duration of the walk, ranging from 1 hour to 4 hours. Whether opting for a leisurely stroll or a more immersive exploration, the guided jungle walk promises an enriching experience amidst the lush surroundings. The lodge provides rubber boots for walking.
Rio Pusuno - Experience nature’s refreshment with the River Beach & Tubing Adventure. After a jungle hike, enjoy thrilling river tubing, surrounded by the beauty of the river and Amazon rainforest. Drift downstream, guided by your hands, for a serene escape. Wear provided life jackets for safety and bring sandals for comfort. Return to the Lodge, rejuvenated by the natural escapade.
Suchipakari Amazon Lodge & Jungle Spa - After dinner, prepare with a flashlight and rubber boots for a nocturnal adventure in the rainforest. Accompanied by an experienced guide, search for caimans, amphibians, bats, owls, and night monkeys. The guide will lead through the forest or around the swamp and lagoon, ensuring an enriching experience. Rest and rejuvenate in comfortable accommodations, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the jungle.
Full-Day Napo River & Wildlife Adventure - Concludes in Tena City
Suchipakari Amazon Lodge & Jungle Spa - Following breakfast at the lodge, prepare for an expedition into the rainforest. Ready the rubber boats for a trek to the Bajo Pusuno community, situated near the Napo Amazon River (Trek to Bajo Pusuno: 35 minutes).
Rio Napo - Enjoy a picturesque journey along the Napo River, ensuring the camera is within reach, as captivating sights may appear amidst the trees or soaring through the sky. Life jackets will be provided for the ride along the Napo and Arajuno Rivers to the Rescue Center.
Ahuano - Meet the transportation for the return journey to Tena city and conclude the adventure.
Tena - The tour concludes in Tena city, where there is the option to either stay in this Amazon city or continue the journey to Quito city. Alternatively, venture deeper into the tropical rainforest, exploring destinations like Cuyabeno or Yasuni.
Amazoonico Animal Rescue Centre - Experience an unprecedented encounter with ocelots or tapirs at AmaZoonico, a rescue sanctuary for Amazonian animals. Run by volunteer guides, the sanctuary offers insight into the fascinating, sometimes tragic, stories of its residents. From toucans to monkeys gradually adapting to life in the wild, and even anacondas fighting to readjust after being sold in the black market, the center’s inhabitants provide a diverse and poignant narrative. Witness firsthand how local communities craft their tableware using materials from the forest, employing traditional techniques for decoration. There is also the opportunity to purchase crafts that pique interest. Following this enriching experience, return by motorized canoe to the jungle retreat, where spa treatments and other amenities await. Return to the Eco-Lodge.
Suchipakari Amazon Lodge & Jungle Spa - After all these activities, return to the lodge to take a refreshing shower and retrieve luggage before proceeding with the final leg of the journey.

Tena - Upon arrival in the city of Tena, there is the opportunity to extend the adventure to Cuyabeno or Yasuni, or choose to return to Baños de Agua Santa or continue to Quito city.
