MTB trip la Suiza down to Baños ; great bikes, great team! - We booked a MTB trip with wonderful Ecuador in Baños. As the Puyo road was still closed from Rio Verde onwards after the landslide , Angel suggested us the route from la Suiza via El Triunfo back to Baños. He made sure to check whether the roads where open and brought us up to la Suiza. The bikes were in great condition, helmet and ock provided. Very nice ride , mostly downhill on very calm roads with sparsely cars; gorgeous views of the valley and Vulcano Tungurahua. On the way back we visited Chamana waterfall before returning to Baños. All in all a beautifull 38km ride. Thanks a lot to Angel and his team at WE, and best wishes from the Netherlands!

Safe information about Bathrooms - Reliable, friendly treatment, highly recommended. I came after 8 years, and with the same and very good quality standard. I'm sure someone else recommends it to you.

Great Bike Ride en la Ruta de Cascadas - Wonderful Ecuador is indeed wonderful. We rented the bikes from them to ride on la Ruta de la Cascadas and had a great time visiting all the waterfalls along the way. Sturdy bikes with multiple gears with helmets, lock, and a repair kit only cost $5 per bike (mountain bikes cost $10 per). Owner Angel is very cool. He and his staff explained everything really well and we were very prepared for the ride. This is a must do activity in Baños. We also did the one day Amazon tour with this company and had an amazing time as well. See my other review on the Amazon tour. Angel also provides private transfer to many destinations such as Quito, Cuenca, etc. Work with this company and you won't be disappointed.

The place to go if you need a bike for a child - Despite the guidebook recommendation, we went there by bike although we have a 7 year-old child. It was actually fine. It is a nice bike ride all the way to the Pailon del Diablo. We visited the original tourist site, which is the site starting from below. I believe this is more fun, especially for kids, as you get super close to the waterfall and it feels like you are almost under it. On route on the “ruta de las cascadas” you can look at many waterfalls, stop at various touristy spots and try a “tarabita”. I would only recommend taking a “tarabita” there if you haven’t had the opportunity to do so in Mindo as we feel the one in Mindo is more authentic. We found the route was ok, we didn’t think the views were breathtaking.
