Our Second Tour with Ahmed - We booked a tour of the Island last October with Ahmed and enjoyed it so much we booked with him again this year. He has a beautiful new air conditioned van. Born and raised here, Ahmed knows everything about the Island and is very informative as you travel. If you book a trip with him on Viator you will have a great experience.

Beautiful scenery and great guide! Most reasonable cost too! - Beautiful scenery, very knowledgeable guide Ahmed who made sure we fit in everything we wanted to see and took us to family owned home restaurant for lunch which was yummy! Monkeys at Wildlife Preserve are a must-see!

Fab way to see most of the Island - Ahmed was our driver. He was so knowledgeable about the island and his photographic memory was full of all the relevant dates in history. Harrisons caves were amazing worth a visit. We stopped off at some beautiful scenic points. The car was exceptionally clean, cool and comfortable. Managed to get round most of the island to get a good overview. Thank you.

If you are in Barbados, you NEED to do this tour!!! - Wow. Our driver Ahmed picked us up on time, and proceeded to exceed our expectations all day long. He knew all the history of the island, as well as special stories about each place we visited. He took us to a place for lunch that had the best view of the ocean as well as spectacular Caribbean food. We did a complete circle of the island, and saw way much more than we expected. He asked us if there were places we wanted to see, and made sure to incorporate those into our day, along with all his recommendations. A fabulous tour guide, and a spectacular tour.... We highly recommend this!!!

We had a wonderful time... - We had a wonderful time on this tour. We were on our honeymoon and left the resort to explore the island. Our guide was amazing and we learned so much from him. Would totally recommend this to anyone visiting the island. FYI - he hits all the top spots but if there is a spot not on the list that you want to visit, he will make sure to fit it in.

OK if you stick to guide's pre-planned route but forget a custom itinerary - Ahmed may be great when allowed to use his standard itinerary but our personalized tour fell far short of the service we were promised and did not meet even the most basic expectations of a customized, well-planned experience. We specifically reserved a private tour with clear priorities in mind, including a visit to the Animal Flower Cave with a sit-down lunch at their restaurant, and a trip to the Wildlife Reserve to ensure we could attend the monkey feeding at either 11am or 2pm. Unfortunately, our day was marked by a series of missteps that caused undue stress and disappointment: 1. **Lack of Itinerary and Unprofessionalism:** While Ahmed arrived promptly, he seemed unprepared, lacking any form of an itinerary or plan to meet our key requests. His insistence on stopping at the Mt. Gay Visitor Center—a location we had not requested—threw off our schedule and was ultimately a waste of time, especially considering we had no interest in tasting rum in the morning. To make matters worse, Ahmed left us there while he attended to personal errands. 2. **Misleading Information About Key Stops:** Despite reassurances that we could make the 2pm monkey feeding, time was wasted, and Ahmed further misinformed us about the Animal Flower Cave, implying that the steep stairs meant we wouldn’t want to visit. It should have been our choice whether or not to proceed, but due to poor time management, the option was taken from us entirely. 3. **Rushed, Uncomfortable Lunch:** We expected to enjoy a sit-down lunch at the cave restaurant as planned. Instead, we were forced to order takeout salads to eat on our laps in the car due to Ahmed’s mismanagement of time. 4. **Deceptive Claims About the Wildlife Reserve:** Ahmed suggested that the monkeys might not even show up at the scheduled feeding, which was untrue. This left us feeling rushed and anxious about missing the one thing we had clearly prioritized. We barely made it in time, having to run to the reserve—a particularly stressful experience for us as senior citizens. 5. **Poor Service Throughout the Day:** Water, which was supposed to be provided, was never offered. In addition, unlike other guides we have hired in the past, Ahmed did not offer to take photos, making the entire day feel impersonal and unprofessional. Ultimately, the only part of the tour we were able to enjoy was the monkey feeding, and that was due to our insistence on leaving early. We are frequent travelers who regularly hire private guides and have never encountered such poor service. The entire day was stressful and unorganized, leaving us feeling frustrated and exhausted.
