Good tour - Ricky was an interesting and informative guide, minibus was cool and comfortable, even on the extremely poor Barbadian roads! Lunch was tasty with several choices. A good tour for a whistle-stop look around the island

A well-spent day in Barbados - Without a doubt, it was Ricky who made this a memorable tour. He is knowledgeable, funny, and kind. The tour provides something of interest to everyone. The pottery factory was like a little art gallery and a perfect place to pick up a souvenir or gift while supporting a local business. The flower forest is a plant lover's delight, while the monkeys are quite entertaining. I did pity the caged macaws, the only downside of the day for me. St. John's Church provides history, beauty, and a stunning view. I will take a look at The Outer Banks series that was partially filmed at Bathsheba Beach after visiting there. Many thanks to Ricky for sharing a bit of his island home with us!

Tour guide was good, sites were so-so. - We took this tour from our cruise ship in November 2024. The operator did a good job communicating with us and the pick up and drop off went well. The actual sites that are visited are just so-so, but that is really not the operators fault. We stopped at Earth Works Pottery and got to see up close the making and painting of the pottery. We stopped at Barbados Wildlife Reserve where we got to see a lot of monkeys, which was cool, but the other part of the sanctuary was only turtles, chickens, a few peacocks. Lunch was quite good at a nice restuarant. The stop at the Flower Forest Garden was nice with paths and plants. The stop at St. John's church was ok and the stop at Bathsheba beach was nice. The worst part of the tour was that everyone sat in the same seats of the mini-bus/van all day. Since we were the last pick up of the tour, we got to sit in the back seat all day. The roads are very bad, so it was very bumpy and uncomfortable. Also, the bus didn't have, or the guide Ricky didn't use any microphone so while on the bus it was very difficult to hear anything he was saying. Suggestion is to either rotate seating, get better suspension, and install a sound system.

Some Great Stops, but Poorly Paced Tour - This tour brought us to several beautiful and interesting stops in Barbados - Earthworks pottery shop, Flower Garden, Wildlife Reserve, Bathsheba Beach, with a stop at a restaurant for lunch. The attractions were cool to see - especially Earthworks - but our tour guide had us linger way too long at some of them. We were supposed to be at the Flower Garden, for example, for 40 minutes and it was actually an hour and ten minutes. Felt like that stop was a vehicle for us to buy stuff at that gift shop or order food there. The Wildlife Reserve was awesome, and you got to be inches away from green monkeys. They were adorable, along with the tortoises, peacocks and iguanas. Where the tour fell apart was at lunch. While our guide took our food orders well in advance, it’s clear the restaurant didn’t start preparing our food until we arrived during the lunch rush. We sat there for nearly an hour while the food was being made and it killed the momentum of the day. The entire tour was supposed to be 6 hours and because of the slow pace, it took 7 and a half. This was simply too long and it needed to be disclosed in advance that it would take that length. Beware of the many unpaved, rocky roads in Barbados seen on this tour. In the last hour or so of the tour, when it was obvious we were well behind schedule, the tour guide drove too fast and a bit recklessly, which after lunch on bumpy roads wasn’t appreciated.
