• Barcelona - The dedicated 2-person Guide/Driver Team will pick guests up from their hotel, apartment, or the Moll de Barcelona Cruise Ship Terminal S or N.
• Montserrat - The tour passes by the awe-inspiring UNESCO World Heritage site, Montserrat mountain, where the monastery and Basilica are beautifully situated halfway up the mountain.
• Panta De Baells - As the journey continues into the Pre-Pyrenees mountain range, the route runs alongside the Baells reservoir. If the water level is low, remnants of the village and monastery, abandoned when the reservoir was created, can be seen.
• Parc Natural del Cadi-Moixero. - On the way to France and Andorra, the drive includes a 5 km (3-mile) tunnel through the magnificent Serra de Moixeró mountain range in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. Breakfast is enjoyed either in the Cerdanya valley or by the Baells reservoir.
• Bourg-Madame - The tour crosses into France at Bourg-Madame, surrounded by the stunning Cerdanya Valley landscape, with the Pre-Pyrenees mountain range to the east and the Pyrenees mountains to the left.
• Porte-Puymorens - Continuing in France, the drive ascends the first Pyrenees mountain pass towards the mountain border of France and Andorra. If the pass is closed, a tunnel through the mountain is available.
• Porta - The journey enters Andorra from France at the high-altitude mountain border station. If traffic allows, a stop is made to request the unique Andorra tourist passport stamp.
• Pas de la Casa - The drive continues through Andorra’s oldest and largest ski village, Pas de la Casa, known for its stunning mountain views, ski slopes, and popular shopping area for French day tourists.
• Port d’Envalira - The tour crosses the highest mountain pass in the entire Pyrenees Mountain range, offering breathtaking views of the Grandvalira ski area and the scenic landscapes and peaks of the French and Andorran Pyrenees. This part of the tour has been used as a stage in previous Tour de France and La Vuelta cycle races. If the pass is closed, a tunnel through the mountain is available.
• Pas de la Casa - There is usually time for a brief visit to Andorra’s oldest and largest ski village, Pas de la Casa, to explore shops and perhaps find a small souvenir from the Andorran adventure.
• Porta - The tour exits Andorra, crossing back into France, and begins the return journey to Barcelona.
• Puigcerda - Restroom stops are made as needed on the drive back to Barcelona. Guests can relax with comfortable blankets and cushions and are welcome to nap during the return journey. Alternatively, the guide team is always happy to provide additional information about the region’s historic and cultural aspects.

Our team consists of two experienced and friendly tour guides who will pick you up early from your hotel or apartment in Barcelona in a clean, comfortable minivan. After a brief breakfast stop in the Pre-Pyrenees mountains, we will cross the border into France and continue to the small country of Andorra, nestled high in the Pyrenees mountain range.

We will spend 5 hours at Andorra’s largest ski area, Grandvalira, where you can enjoy the snow and partake in exciting snow activities. Options include snowmobile excursions, snowshoe treks, dog mushing, or snow-tubing (activities not included in the tour price). These activities are typically available from mid-December to early April, weather permitting. Building snowmen and engaging in snowball fights are complimentary :-)

There will be a 30-minute stop at Pas de la Casa for shopping before we return to Barcelona.
