A Beautiful Day in Montserrat and Barcelona - This tour was great for our group. We had 6 in our group, and there were 2 others in the tour, for a total of 8 people (7 of whom were over 65yo). There is an appropriate amount of walking, which can be adjusted to the group somewhat. One of the highlights of the tour was our guide, Miquel, who was wonderful. His outgoing personality, knowledge, and skillful driving (especially in the city during rush hour traffic) was fantastic! We started the morning in Montserrat, which was beautiful, and we beat the afternoon crowds. FYI - This tour does not include a ticket to see the Black Madonna, so if you want to do this, you will have to buy a separate ticket. I'm not sure if the tour always starts in Monserrat, so if you want to do thus, I suggest speaking with the tour operator before the day of the tour or the guide the morning of the tour, because you have to purchase a timed ticket. There is free time built in, so it's do-able. After touring the Basilica, we had 2hrs of free time (including lunch). Options included hiking to the cross (approx 1hr round trip), riding a funicular (we rode San Joan, took approx 1hr including walking around to see multiple views at the top), and visiting a museum. The views are gorgeous in the morning with the fog over the valley below. There is a cafeteria there, but I thought it was disappointing as there were not many fresh options other than sandwiches and pastries. I'm guessing this is due to it being low tourist season. But don't miss the local vendors selling cheeses (free tasting!), figs, quince jam, and honey. I highly recommend the local fresh cottage cheese with honey. Then we made our way back to Barcelona, where we did a short walk through the Gothic Quarter. Miquel pointed out highlights around the Cathedral de Barcelona and recommended places for snacks/treats/food. Then we ended the tour at Sagrada Familia. He gave us info outside, advised us to watch the short movie in the (free) museum, then gave us about 1.5hr to explore. FYI- There is an audioguide included with the ticket through the app, but I didn't have my earbuds, so I couldn't listen to it. Bonus- Miquel took amazing pictures of our group at key areas during the tour. Overall, this tour was amazing. Thank you, Miquel!

Great tour of Barcelona and Montserrat - Great walking tour of Barcelona in the morning with our knowledgeable guide Stephanie. Followed up with a self guided tour of Sagrada Familiar. Stephanie suggested a great place for lunch and we voyaged to Montserrat in the clouds and rain. We didn't know what to expect but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

5 star service - Such a great service for spending the day exploring Monsteratt and Sagrada F. Our guide (Gaspar) was patient, flexible, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour. It's a long day but worth it if you're short on days.

Vincent, our guide and... - Vincent, our guide and Joaquin, the driver took great care of us. The day began at Monserrat. We arrived earlier than other groups and were able to visit with much fewer people. Vincent provided stops throughout the day. I appreciated always knowing what was coming next. Very informative visit we could not have accomplished on our own.
