Absolutely Outstanding Tour of Gaudi’s work, Modernisme, & Barcelona’s urban Evolution. A Highlight Experience! - My husband and I joined another couple on an amazing walking architecture tour with Pia- a professor, architect, and terrific guide. She explained so many aspects of the buildings we were exploring- the history, cultural context; the building materials and techniques. She had charts, maps, and sketches to explain Gaudi’s incredible genius as well as historical structural traditions and challenges . My husband is an architect and retired college professor who was very impressed by Pia’s knowledge as well as experience in Barcelona’s rejuvenation. I really was excited by the incredible breadth of cultural forces she described as they affected Gaudi’s Modernisme period and current urban planning. We had a great tour, time for a coffee stop and discussion, a brisk walk , and plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. This was a highlight tour for our exploration of Barcelona.

Fantastic experience - Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guide. She was more than willing to answer all the crazy questions my 9 year old kept throwing at her. Now understanding how Barcelona came to be and how Gaudi influenced the modern architecture makes the walks I've had since more interesting. I would highly recommend their tours to anyone that wants in depth knowledge.

Informative and interesting - The guide, Raphael, was lovely. He was knowledgeable and clear as well as being warm and kind. Once couple came got lost and came late and he did his best to accommodate them without disrupting the tour. I would definitely use this company again.

Very informative and enjoyable - A good mixture of history and architecture of Barcelona from the Romans to modern days with the main focus on Gaudi's work. Factual and informative, explaining why things were built the way they were built. It was a perfect introduction to Barcelona on our first day here. Very well delivered. Was nice to chat to Pia at the midpoint break. Many thanks for a lovely tour.

Some interesting info but not nearly enough about Gaudi and Barcelona! - We took this tour expecting it to be (because of the title!) mostly about Gaudi. Instead, our guide, who is a very experienced and informed Barcelona architect, talked about a million other things except Gaudi. Some of it was interesting, about Barcelona's architecture, but way too much of it was about things she apparently found interesting about details of how things are built (many of them nothing directly to do with Gaudi or Barcelona) that she seemed to find interesting. I became afraid to ask her any questions for fear that she would go off on some tangent and we'd never get to the main topic of the tour. To be fair, I did learn some things, but I would not do this tour again if it went the same way it went for us.
